00:00I'm running 8 miles! I'm running 8 miles per hour!
00:15Okay, Mrs Campbell, can you explain what the Olympic Fundraise is all about then, please?
00:19Yes, certainly. We run something called Opolin School, which is outdoor play and learning,
00:23and we're looking to fundraise together with FOSS, which our friends have seen, Trinity, a bit like our PTA,
00:29and we're looking to raise money for outdoor equipment for the children.
00:33We believe that health and well-being is very important in our children,
00:37and we want to give them some more outdoor experience, physical activity, and just getting them going, keeping them fit.
00:43So hopefully the money that we raise today will be going towards using some more construction outdoor activity things,
00:49like monkey bars, trim trails, things like that, just to get the kids more involved outside.
00:54And what exactly are the kids going to be doing today?
00:57They're walking down to the seafront in Seaham, and then they're going to be running a mile and a half along the seafront,
01:02finishing at their tommy in the Senate Half, and then walking back to school afterwards.
01:06I understand you're looking to cover the equivalent distance from Seaham?
01:09That's right, yes. We're thinking about the Olympics that's going to be held this summer, getting them all involved.
