00:00Henry's Good Deeds
00:04There are lots of beautiful birds on the island of Sodor.
00:09The engines know their names and their songs.
00:14One day the engines were especially excited.
00:18A new bird had been seen on the island.
00:21The Fat Controller arrived at Tidmouth Sheds.
00:25He had important news.
00:27The Sodor Warbler has arrived back on the island.
00:31Very few people have ever seen this bird.
00:34So a lot of visitors will be coming to our island.
00:38You will all be very busy taking them to spot the bird.
00:42Remember your carriages at all times.
00:45And remember not to frighten the Warbler.
00:49Henry was worried for the Warbler.
00:52Do you think the Sodor Warbler will be scared of engines?
00:56No, Henry, not if you're really useful.
00:59And I need you to be really useful.
01:03Yes, sir.
01:04You must deliver a nesting pole to Bluff's Cove.
01:09Percy was puzzled.
01:11Um, what's a nesting pole?
01:13It's a tall pole with a shelf on top.
01:16Birds build their nests on it.
01:18Percy liked this idea.
01:21Do you understand, Henry?
01:24Yes, sir.
01:25I will deliver the pole straight away.
01:28Good!
01:29We hope the Sodor Warbler will make its home here once more.
01:35That's a very exciting special, Henry.
01:38Henry was happy.
01:40He puffed away proudly.
01:43Later, Henry clickety-clacked along the track.
01:47Ahead, he could see Thomas with Annie and Clarabel.
01:51Thomas had stopped.
01:54That's strange.
01:56Henry chuffed slowly up to Thomas.
01:59Is anything wrong, Thomas?
02:01No, Henry.
02:02I'm letting Farmer McColl cross with his sheep.
02:05Henry could see the sheep tripping and tapping across the tracks.
02:10Thomas!
02:11You helped me!
02:13That's a good deed!
02:15Well done!
02:16You're welcome, Farmer McColl.
02:19Thomas chuffed away cheerfully.
02:22Henry puffed and puzzled.
02:24I would like to help someone.
02:26They will call it a good deed and they will say,
02:29Well done, Henry!
02:31This made Henry feel very happy.
02:34I'm sure I can deliver the nesting pole and do good deeds.
02:39So Henry huffed happily on.
02:43Soon, Henry saw Farmer Trotter's pink pigs.
02:47They were snuffling and sniffing sadly at the side of the track.
02:52Hmm, those pigs don't look very happy.
02:56Then, Henry saw that the pigs were looking at the muddy field on the other side of the tracks.
03:03I know what's wrong.
03:05Those pigs want to roll in the muddy field.
03:08If I stop here, those pigs can cross safely.
03:11They won't be scared anymore.
03:14So Henry stopped and the pigs tripped and trotted across the tracks.
03:21Soon, the pigs weren't pink anymore.
03:25They were brown, muddy and very happy.
03:29Farmer Trotter wasn't happy at all.
03:32I wanted pink pigs to take to the county fair.
03:40Henry was sorry.
03:42Oh dear, Farmer Trotter is cross.
03:46I didn't help at all.
03:49Suddenly, an idea flew into Henry's funnel.
03:53I'll reverse back down the track.
03:56Then the pigs will have more room to cross.
03:59Henry pumped his pistons, his wheels whirred, he puffed steam and he chuffed backwards.
04:06This should help Farmer Trotter.
04:08But it didn't help.
04:10The pigs were scared by Henry's steam and the wear of his wheels.
04:14They scattered and clattered into the apple crate.
04:18The apples rolled everywhere.
04:21This made the pigs very happy.
04:24They munched and scrunched the rosy red apples.
04:27But now, they wouldn't move from the tracks.
04:30That made Farmer Trotter even more cross.
04:34Bust my buffers, my idea wasn't a good deed at all.
04:39Just then, Thomas puffed up on the down line.
04:43Annie and Clarabel were full of visitors to see the Sodor Warbler.
04:48Cinders and ashes! How am I going to puff through?
04:52The Sodor Warbler has been spotted in the Fenland Fields. I'm in a hurry.
04:57I'm sorry Thomas, I was trying to help Farmer Trotter.
05:01I'm sure I can help you.
05:03I'll take your visitors to the Fenland Fields. We'll be there in good time.
05:08Thomas thought this was a good idea.
05:11Thank you Henry.
05:12The visitors were surprised.
05:15They stepped and scurried through the pigs to Henry's carriage.
05:19Henry felt pleased.
05:21I'm sure this is a good deed and I'm sure I still have time to deliver the nesting pole.
05:28Henry puffed and huffed his hardest all the way to the Fenland Fields.
05:34Here we are. Watch out for the warbler.
05:38The visitors were very excited.
05:41They opened the carriage doors carefully.
05:44They didn't want to scare the Sodor Warbler away.
05:48Henry felt very happy.
05:51At last I've been helpful. I've done a good deed.
05:55Henry tooted a loud goodbye.
05:58Then there was trouble.
06:00A colourful bird flapped and flew from a tree high into the sky and away.
06:06It was the Sodor Warbler.
06:09The visitors moaned and groaned.
06:12Fizzling fireboxes. The bird was scared of my loud whistle.
06:16Henry steamed sadly away.
06:20I wanted to help the pigs. I wanted to help Farmer Trotter.
06:25I wanted to help the visitors but I haven't helped anybody.
06:29I've done no good deeds and I haven't delivered the nesting pole.
06:35Henry felt terrible.
06:38Henry huffed towards Bluff's Cove.
06:41He had to deliver the nesting pole.
06:44I don't think anyone is ever going to say well done Henry to me.
06:49Henry waited at a junction.
06:52His wheels wobbled with worry.
06:55Now I'm sure I'll be late with the nesting pole.
06:58The Fat Controller will be cross with me.
07:01Oh dear, oh dear!
07:03Suddenly a colourful bird flew from a tree.
07:07Henry was too sad to smile at the bird.
07:10The bird landed on Henry's buffer.
07:13At least I can give that bird a rest and a ride.
07:17So Henry and the beautiful bird chuffed on towards Bluff's Cove.
07:23Henry puffed to the halt.
07:26A lot of visitors were waiting.
07:28They were hoping to see the Sodor Warbler.
07:31I hope they'll be pleased that I have delivered the nesting pole.
07:35But the visitors weren't just pleased, they were amazed.
07:39They smiled and pointed and took out their cameras.
07:43Henry was surprised.
07:45Oh, the visitors seem very pleased to see me.
07:49I can't think why. After all, no one has said well done Henry.
07:54Well done Henry! You have brought the Sodor Warbler to us!
07:59Hooray for Henry!
08:01Henry blinked and blushed.
08:04The bird I carried on my buffer was the Sodor Warbler.
08:08Then Thomas arrived with more visitors.
08:12Well done Henry!
08:14Henry was so proud, his firebox fizzed and his boiler bubbled.
08:19And this time I wasn't even trying to do a good deed.
08:23Soon the nesting pole was up.
08:26The Sodor Warbler looked snug and sleepy in its nest at the top.
08:32I think our friend likes its new home.
08:35Welcome home Mr Warbler.
08:37And well done Henry!
