00:00Buzzy Bees. It was a fine summer morning on the island of Sodal.
00:10The sun was shining, the birds sang, the flowers bloomed,
00:18and Thomas clickety-clacked along the track to Brendam Docks.
00:24Thomas's good friend Hero was unloading at Brendam Docks.
00:29Good morning, Hero. The Fat Controller tells me I have a special special today for Farmer Trotter.
00:36Good morning, my friend. Yes, you do. Look.
00:41Thomas gasped.
00:44Flatten my funnel. They look like small white wooden houses. Who lives in them?
00:50Bees, my good friend. Lots and lots of bees. Their houses are called hives.
00:59Inside the hives, the bees are very busy making honey.
01:05This made Thomas excited.
01:08The Fat Controller always has honey on his crumpets.
01:11I'll puff as fast as I can to deliver the beehives to Farmer Trotter.
01:15Suddenly, Hero was stern.
01:17Thomas, chuff slowly and smoothly. Take the track through the woods. Then the bees will rest.
01:25You have to look after bees very carefully.
01:29Don't worry, Hero. I will. They'll be happy with me.
01:33Hero smiled.
01:35Very well. I have to deliver these crates. Then I must pick up some flowers from Farmer McCaw.
01:42I will visit the bees when I've finished.
01:46Hero steamed slowly away. Thomas was coupled up to the beehives.
01:53Off we go, bees!
01:58Thomas puffed proudly to a junction.
02:02Ahead, he saw the track through the woods.
02:06The other track ran past a field full of flowers and bright sunshine.
02:11The field with flowers is much prettier than the woods. I'm sure the bees would like that better.
02:17So Thomas didn't take the track through the woods as Hero had told him to.
02:26Thomas huffed happily along.
02:30Buzzy bees are busy bees and busy bees make honey.
02:34Buzzy bees are happy bees when it's warm and sunny.
02:37Suddenly, there was a buzzing and a buzzing.
02:41Thomas applied his brakes.
02:44Bust my buffers! What's that?
02:47Thomas looked over to the field.
02:50His bees were everywhere.
02:53They buzzed busily, flying from flower to flower.
02:58Thomas was surprised.
03:00Oh no! Come back, bees! Come back to your hives!
03:04The bees weren't listening to Thomas.
03:07They were too busy buzzing in the field.
03:11Thomas tried again.
03:13Please come back, bees! We'll be late for Farmer Trotter!
03:17But still, the bees weren't listening to Thomas.
03:21Fizzling fireboxes! I can't take the beehives to Farmer Trotter empty!
03:27Then, an idea flew into Thomas' funnel.
03:30The bees like flowers.
03:33I will chuff my hardest to Farmer McColl's and pick up the flatbed of flowers.
03:38Then, the bees will buzz around my flowers and back to their hives.
03:45So, Thomas was uncoupled from his flatbed.
03:49Then, he steamed swiftly away.
03:53Thomas arrived at Farmer McColl's farm.
03:57He saw the flatbed of flowers.
04:00I'm sure Hiro won't mind if I borrow his flowers.
04:04I'll bring them back as soon as the bees are in their hives again.
04:09And Thomas huffed happily back to the field.
04:12The bees were still buzzing busily from flower to flower in the field.
04:18Then, they saw Thomas' flowery flatbed.
04:23The buzzy bees left the field and buzzed all around Thomas.
04:29They flew into his funnel.
04:32The bees like flowers.
04:35I'll bring them back as soon as the bees are in their hives again.
04:38Then, they buzzed all around Thomas.
04:41They flew into his funnel.
04:44They buzzed his boiler and whizzed his wheels.
04:48Trembling tracks!
04:50This flatbed of flowers wasn't a good idea.
04:53Go away bees, please. Buzz into your hives and make honey.
04:57But the bees weren't listening to Thomas.
05:00They were too busy buzzing.
05:03I must race like the wind.
05:04Maybe the bees will be blown off my buffers and fly back to their hives.
05:09So, Thomas pumped his pistons and raced away.
05:15But the bees didn't mind the wind on their wings.
05:19They flew around Thomas like a buzzing cloud.
05:23Thomas chuffed and puffed to a siding.
05:27Very well, bees. If you won't leave me, I will leave you.
05:31Thomas was uncoupled from his flatbed of flowers.
05:35And he clickety clacked away down the track.
05:40Now the buzzy bees won't bother me.
05:43They're too busy making honey for the Fat Controller's team.
05:47Thomas chuffed to a junction.
05:50Hero was there.
05:52Thomas was surprised to see his friend.
05:55Hello, Hero. You look puzzled.
05:58I am Thomas.
05:59Farmer McCall's flowers have disappeared.
06:02And you have still not delivered the bees to Farmer Trotter.
06:06He's waiting and worried.
06:09Thomas looked at his wise friend, Hero.
06:13He hadn't looked after the bees.
06:15He hadn't looked after their hives.
06:18And he hadn't taken the woodland track.
06:21But he had taken Hero's flowers.
06:24Hero, I have been looking for you.
06:27Hero, I have been very silly.
06:30I have been everything you told me not to be.
06:33But now, I will do everything you told me to do.
06:36Please wait for me here. I will bring you back your flowers.
06:40Thomas's wheels started to whirr.
06:43And his boiler started to bubble.
06:46Thomas had a lot to do.
06:49Thomas puffed back to the flatbed of flowers.
06:53The bees were still buzzing.
06:56But Thomas didn't mind.
06:59Follow me, bees. I'll take you back to your hives.
07:04And Thomas wheezed away to the flatbed of beehives.
07:12Farmer Trotter is waiting for you, bees.
07:15You will like living on his farm.
07:20Then, Thomas chuffed carefully away.
07:24And took the track through the woods.
07:29The woods were deep and dark.
07:32The bees felt cold.
07:35It's time to go home, all you busy bees.
07:38It's time to make honey in the shade of the trees.
07:41And the busy bees buzzed into their hives.
07:48Farmer Trotter was waiting for Thomas.
07:52He was very pleased to see his new beehives.
07:56Thank you, Thomas.
07:58But why have you brought me all those flowers?
08:02They're not for you, Farmer Trotter.
08:04Hero is waiting for these. I must hurry.
08:08Thomas pumped his pistons and puffed down the track.
08:16Hero was waiting for Thomas.
08:18So, my good friend, here are my flowers.
08:22I'm sorry, Hero. You will be late, I know.
08:26But from these flowers, Farmer Trotter will have the best honey on Sodor.
08:31The two friends smiled.
08:34It had been a very busy, buzzy day.
