00:00First, failure to relaunch, that's the focus of tonight's angle.
00:05All right, I leave town for a few weeks and all hell breaks loose.
00:09Make every single solitary person eligible for what I've been able to do with the COVID,
00:17excuse me, with dealing with everything we have to do with.
00:21Look, if we finally beat Medicare, and I'm going to continue to move until we get the total ban
00:31on the total initiative relative to what we're going to do with
00:36more border patrol and more asylum officers.
00:40President Trump?
00:41I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence.
00:44I don't think he knows what he said either.
00:45By the way, I'm proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman,
00:51served with a black president.
00:53I have a cognitive test every single day.
00:57Every day I have that test.
00:59Everything I do, you know, not only in my campaign, but I'm running the world.
01:04Every day I have a test.
01:06Of course, although he somehow tries to deny it, Biden's poll numbers are cratering.
01:12Swing states, nationals, approval ratings, all of it.
01:15Now, this is a new battleground state poll by the liberal group,
01:18Democrats for the Next Generation, that shows Trump up by an average of four points on Biden
01:24across the board, including by a staggering five points.
01:28Yes, five points in Pennsylvania.
01:30But today was the unofficial Biden campaign post-debate disaster relaunch.
01:36It's the day that Scranton Joe would come roaring back.
01:40I'm getting so frustrated by the elites.
01:43Now, I'm not talking about you guys, but about the elites in the party,
01:46who they know so much more.
01:49If any of these guys don't think I should run against me,
01:53go ahead, announce the president, challenge me at the convention.
01:57What the hell are we doing, Joe?
01:59What are we doing?
02:01This is bizarre.
02:02I'll say.
02:04And after six House Dems have called for him to step aside,
02:07well, the White House didn't want any more folding.
02:09So to stem the bleed, Team Biden sent a letter to the Hill written by some aides,
02:14the same aides have been covering up his condition for years.
02:17And the letter said, despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere,
02:20I'm firmly committed to staying in this race,
02:23to running this race to the end and to beating Donald Trump.
02:28And finally, Biden had a call with a handpicked group of big donors,
02:32where he said, we can't waste any more time being distracted.
02:35I have one job, and that's to beat Donald Trump.
02:38I'm absolutely certain I'm the best person to be able to do that.
02:41Well, the donors, we hear, were 100 percent supportive.
02:46But after Biden's ABC interview dud,
02:50mega donors like the Netflix founder Reed Hastings
02:53had reiterated his call for Biden to step aside.
02:57Hastings told ABC that Biden is unfortunately in denial about his mental state.
03:04And indeed, their denials continued today, pouring cold water on Biden's reboot.
03:10The White House and the president are in conflict, it seems,
03:13over the timing and nature of a post-debate doctor's visit.
03:18I was sick. I was feeling terrible.
03:20Matter of fact, the docs with me, I asked them, they did a COVID test.
03:23They were trying to figure out what's wrong.
03:25They did a test to see whether or not I had some infection, you know, a virus.
03:30I didn't. He just had a really bad cold.
03:32He did not have a medical exam. He did not have a physical.
03:35He did do like a verbal check in with his doctor a couple of days after the debate.
03:41And it was very quick.
03:43It was a couple of words that were spoken to each other.
03:46And that's how we were able to to be able to give you that answer.
03:50But he did not have a medical exam.
03:54And then reports that Parkinson's specialist, Dr. Kevin Canard,
03:58visited the White House eight times in eight months
04:02with different White House staff listed as contact points.
04:05Now, knowing that this information and White House logs had been reported on,
04:11one would think that on this big relaunch day,
04:14the White House would have been ready to answer some pretty legitimate questions
04:18about Dr. Canard and the nature of his visits.
04:22Instead, America witnessed more stonewalling.
04:26The president, I can tell you, has seen a neurologist three times
04:29as it's connected to the to a physical that he gets every year that we provide to all of them.
04:35It's a very basic, direct question.
04:38Hold on, hold on.
04:39Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait a second.
04:41Eight times or at least once in regards to the president specifically.
04:46Hold on a second.
04:46That much you should be able to answer by this point.
04:48Wait, no, no, no, no, no, no.
04:50Wait a minute.
04:51Ed, please.
04:53A little respect here.
04:55Every time he has a physical, he has had to see a neurologist.
04:58So that is answering that question.
05:01No, it is.
05:02It is.
05:02You're asking me.
05:03Ed, I also said to you for security reasons, we cannot share names.
05:12We cannot share names of specialists broadly from a dermatologist to a neurologist.
05:18We cannot share names.
05:20There are security reasons.
05:21We have to, we have to.
05:24I understand that.
05:28Ed, I hear you.
05:29I cannot from here confirm any of that because we have to keep their privacy.
05:34I think they would appreciate that too.
05:36We have to give them.
05:38We have to keep their privacy.
05:42I hear you.
05:47Guys, hold on a second.
05:48There's no reason to get back and go back and forth and be in this aggressive way.
05:52Missed around here about how information has been shared with the press.
05:55Every time I come back and I answer the question that you guys ask.
06:00I never answered the question incorrectly.
06:01That is not true.
06:02I was asked about a medical exam.
06:04I was asked about a physical.
06:05That was in the line of question that I answered.
06:08Don't you love the fact that they're finally doing their jobs?
06:12The media finally, because I think Biden's going to hurt, hurt them, hurt the power.
06:16They're finally asking questions.
06:18And then KJP doesn't know what to do with it.
06:20Privacy security.
06:21She's citing what?
06:23We're talking about the president of the United States.
06:26You know, the guy who has the power to launch a nuclear war.
06:29But they frankly don't think that you have the right to know anything.
06:33Unless a court maybe forces them to turn it over.
06:37The president could authorize that his medical records or additional medical information
06:42could be made public because he could waive HIPAA.
06:46He could do those things.
06:47I don't know how all of that works.
06:49I'm not going to pretend I know how that that works.
06:53And what I will do is certainly will share that information with the with the powers that be.
06:58I just don't want to get into a back and forth on that particular question.
07:03Now, this was a complete but entertaining train wreck.
07:07Now, if the Bidens really wanted to put it all to rest,
07:10they would allow his doctors to be available in the briefing room.
07:14Oh, they loved it when Fauci was there, right?
07:16And that doctor would answer any and all questions or have a panel of doctors.
07:21They'd talk about all their evaluations or lack of evaluations.
07:25And just tell us about Biden's overall cognitive health.
07:30But look, we know at this point and the media is just waking up to this,
07:33the White House has zero credibility.
07:36They've shredded it.
07:38And now they, you know, the KJP and company,
07:40they want to get all indignant with people for actually doing their jobs.
07:44They do take offense to what Ed alluded to.
07:49You know, come out here every day.
07:52There's a press briefing.
07:54And we do our best to give you the information that we have at the time.
07:58To say that I'm holding information or allude to anything else is not unfair.
08:03It's really, really unfair.
08:05Now, today, the White House succeeded in showcasing Biden, though,
08:09as an angry old man on MSNBC,
08:12with his staff doing the same thing they've done for three and a half years,
08:16covering for him so they can just cover for themselves after all.
08:20It's a hideous and it's a reckless game they're playing.
08:23And the Democrats deserve every bit of what they're going to get in November
08:27for their part in this charade.
08:30And that's the angle.
