00:00Good morning. We are now in Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated or DCC-II in Patigayon.
00:11This is a city that uses renewable energy from its business establishments.
00:16We are joined by Mayor Antoinette Durmal, the Secretary General of DCC-CII,
00:22who wants to show the people of the city that they can get energy from renewable sources and that it is more sustainable.
00:31That's why we are here to announce the Solar Exhibit Mindanao 2024 that will be held this July 5-7 in Tuiga,
00:41next to the Kamolde in Bahada, in the city.
00:43We also invited the solar lights distributors here in the city to attend the exhibit,
00:48so that more people in Patigayon and Mindanao will be able to use solar lights and show the benefits of using it in their businesses.
00:58The Davao City Chamber is really pushing that our members and even the business community will be able to see the value of renewable energy.
01:07Our goal is to promote to the people the importance of using our God-given resources because we are in the tropical country, so we might as well do solar.
01:21The Preventive Suspension Order was passed on the third of July by Governor Edwin Hubahib.
01:31The Governor approved the convocation program this Monday, July 8, held at Davao Del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex Gymnasium.
01:41The program was attended by Tagom City Vice Mayor Alan Relyon, Panabo City Mayor Jose Relampagos,
01:47Kapalong Mayor Maria Teresa Timbol and Pangkonsihal Oksikanhi, DILG 11 Regional Director Alex Roldan.
01:55In Governor Hubahib's message, he also added that he temporarily resigned from his position and that he will continue his projects.
02:05We thank him for his support and his commitment to returning the services to the provincial government of Davao Del Norte.
