Sostenibilità, Vantini (Consorzio bonifica veronese): “Falda superficiale usata da mondo agricolo e servizio idrico integrato”

(Adnkronos) - “Le risorgive vengono alimentate dalla falda superficiale e quindi, abbiamo pensato di iniziare questo progetto, trovando come partner Coca-Cola in qualità di soggetto anche finanziatore, per iniziare la ricarica della falda superficiale che viene utilizzata da tutto il mondo agricolo e, sul lungo periodo, anche dal servizio idrico integrato”. Sono le parole di Alex Vantini, presidente del Consorzio di bonifica veronese, a margine della presentazione del progetto realizzato in collaborazione con Coca-Cola HBC Italia che prevede la ricarica delle falde acquifere nel territorio veronese.

00:00What is the role of the Bonifica consortium?
00:08It is an area of so-called forested infiltration.
00:12The Bonifica consortium, which manages the irrigation of the main water bodies,

00:30The province of Verona is managed with three particular areas.
00:33One where there is structured irrigation,
00:36one where there are the so-called springs
00:39that feed the network of channels
00:42to irrigate the fields.
00:45These springs are fed by the surface fault
00:48and so we thought of starting this project
00:51on which we found as a partner Coca-Cola
00:54as a subject and also as a financier
00:57to start the recharge of the surface fault
01:00which is then used by the whole agricultural world
01:03and in a more long-term way
01:06also for what is the water-integrated service.
01:09Our will is to start a path
01:12to provide the entire recharge band of the fault
01:15of these areas of infiltration
01:18and therefore to be able to make a derivation in the winter period
01:21which is something that is not allowed today
01:24and we will ask the possibility to do it in the region
01:27to recharge the fault even in all that period
01:30in which the irrigation is not done
01:33and which still has the effect of recharging the fault
01:36and therefore to start this path also during the winter period.
01:39We are talking about an area in this project
01:42of about 15,000 square meters of forested surface
01:45connected by these small ditches
01:48that go to recharge about 800,000 cubic meters of water
01:51throughout the period, throughout the year.
01:54The innovative aspects are in fact
01:57to go and do a real operation
02:00to recharge the fault.
02:03Today the fault is recharged for the rain
02:06and is recharged for the irrigation
02:09that is carried out by the farmers
02:12during the irrigation period
02:15and therefore in the summer phase
02:18from April 15 to September 15.
02:21These areas have the use during the irrigation period
02:24but we would like them to have their effect
02:27also during the winter period.
02:30This is to start the irrigation season
02:33in the reemergence band
02:36that feeds our rice fields
02:39already with an important equipment
02:42of the surface fault
02:45that allows us to work
02:48more serenely and more quietly
02:51including the agricultural companies of the territory.
