00:07I understand that Yankees fans are upset.

00:11Everybody wants Boone fired again.

00:12Like we go through this every single year.

00:14It feels like and then when you look at the standings, if you didn't know any better,

00:18you would think the Yankees are what four or five games over 500 teetering on the verge

00:22of the postseason as there's 17 games over 500.

00:26If they finish 17 games over and just play 500 ball the rest of the season, they're going

00:30to make the postseason.

00:31Now, as I talked about the beginning of the year, I thought they were supremely overrated

00:35and now they're playing back to what they're probably mean is, is my guess.

00:39But I think that things will normalize.

00:41It's a long year.

00:42It's probably a bad month for them.

00:44In the end, they're a team that's probably five, six games over 500.

00:48They're playing above that.

00:49They probably will get close to their season win total at this point, maybe even pass it.

00:53So it's really no time to panic, but you just have to kind of be realistic.

00:57The Yankees are more of a flawed team than some of the other teams in major league baseball.

01:01I mean, the Orioles are a better team than the Yankees.

01:04I mean, this is just what it is.

01:05And so are the Dodgers.

01:06And so were the Phillies and several other teams as well.

01:08Cleveland's probably better than the Yankees too.

01:10So I do think they'll get to the postseason, but this is just not a surprise.

01:14In the end, your record comes back to what you usually thought they would be.

01:19No 55 and 38, but the Yanks have lost 16 of their last 21.

01:24Is it panic time though at the drop?

01:32to visit his Yankees, but he did not meet with the team.
