00:00Thank you. The President's come out very aggressively in the past 24 hours from

00:04that letter to Democrats, the call-in to MSNBC, the phone call with donors, the CPC last

00:08night. Was that his decision personally to step up that outreach? It has been.

00:13He is, he's ready. He's on fire. He's ready to go and he wants to get

00:20out there and continue to show that he has more work to do, right? He has more

00:27more important issues for the American people to get done. And so he wants to

00:34get out there. He's always has though. I mean the last two, two and a half years,

00:38three years, three and a half years, he looks forward to getting out there

00:44speaking directly to the American people. And he, I know we say this and I know

00:49sometimes you guys don't believe us, but he does want to engage with you all. He

00:52does want to talk more to the press. And so now we're certainly going to

00:55continue to create opportunities to do that. He's done interviews 47 times in

01:00this year alone and we're going to continue to create opportunities to do

01:04this. We're going to get out there so he can engage with the American people more

01:08directly. So we're going to continue to do that.

01:11But in terms of, you know, especially in the last 24 hours, that type of outreach to ease concerns among Democrats about his campaign

01:18continuing, was there something specific that he heard or read that prompted this,

01:22it seemed more like a flurry over the last 24 hours, that didn't happen last week?

01:27We really saw him doing more. No, I get it. No, I get the question. Look, I wouldn't say

01:31there's anything specific. This is something that he wanted to do. And if

01:35you, if you think about it, you know, he was, he's been on the road a lot since,

01:40since the, since the debate. He was on the road on Friday. He was on the road on

01:45Sunday. And then right out of the debate, right, he did about two, he did two and a

01:49half days of going into about four states. So he's just been on the road,

01:53busy, engaging with, with, with Americans. But, and he did the ABC interview, as you

01:59know, obviously. And so he wants to do more. He wants to do more. There's nothing

02:03specific, but he understands. He understands what, what you all saw, right?

02:09He understand he had a bad debate. He understand that America, what Americans

02:12saw. So he wants to go out there and continue to prove to all of you that, you

02:17know, he continued to, can continue to do the work.

02:19And does he feel that outreach is working to ease those concerns after the bad debate?

02:24I mean, look, I think he's, you know, this is kind of the questions that I got from

02:28other colleagues. He's hearing directly from the American people. And I think

02:31that matters, you know. I think, I think him being out there and them, and

02:38Americans seeing him directly, being able to touch him and ask him questions and

02:43see him face to face. I think that matters. And so, look, we're going to

02:48continue to move forward and do, and do what we have to do.
