00:00This is a big night at the White House, celebrating 75 years of the greatest alliance the world

00:11has ever known.

00:13Jill and I are honored to have so many close allies and close friends all in the same room.

00:19Because we all share common beliefs in dignity, equality, democracy, and freedom.

00:27And we're all neighbors because we're there for one another.

00:32And as you know, in all cultures, at all times, sharing a meal, being together, having a dinner,

00:45is one of the strongest expressions of trust, of friendship, and of family.

00:52And tonight we are a family, the big transatlantic NATO family, with our closest friends.

01:00We are not a normal family with totally normal friends and partners, because we are a military

01:07alliance with close partners that we work together with every day.

01:11So therefore, a toast for the most successful, the strongest, and the longest lasting alliance
