Cloudy, rainy conditions persist over parts of Luzon due to northeasterly wind flow

00:00The northeasterly wind is still blowing from the north east.

00:06It brings some cold temperatures and some weak and sometimes strong rains.

00:12While in the remaining part of the country, there are still localized thunderstorms to be experienced.

00:17Based on our latest satellite animation,

00:20aside from the cloud clusters in the north of our country,

00:23up to the Pacific Ocean,

00:25we do not see any new weather disturbance,

00:28whether it's a low-pressure area or a storm,

00:30that will enter our Philippine area of responsibility until the weekend ends.

00:36Today, we hope for a rainy season here in Northern Luzon,

00:39especially in Batanes, Apayao, and Cagayan,

00:42because of the northeasterly wind flow.

00:44We have some weak and sometimes strong rains,

00:47but beware of floods and landslides.

00:51The remaining part of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Region

00:54plus Ilocos Region,

00:55before the weekend ends, there is a high chance of rain.

00:58So make sure that we have an umbrella or a raincoat

01:02and also beware of floods and landslides.

01:05While the remaining part of Luzon, including Metro Manila,

01:08there is still a part that is cloudy, sometimes cloudy sky in the morning.

01:15that will also have isolated rain showers.

01:18Thunderstorms are possible over most of Luzon

01:21from the afternoon to the evening.

01:23Our temperature in Metro Manila is from 25 to 32 degrees,

01:27while in Baguio, it cools down from 17 to 22 degrees Celsius.

01:35they will experience fair weather conditions there

01:38that will only be accompanied by dry rains or landslides.

01:42While here in the central and eastern portions of Visayas,

01:45there are areas that will have localized thunderstorms

01:49from the morning to the afternoon,

01:51then from the afternoon to the evening,

01:53a large part of Visayas will also have rain and thunderstorms

01:57with no sign of weather disturbance.

02:00Our temperature in Metro Cebu is possible to rise to 33 degrees Celsius.

02:05And for our fellowmen in Mindanao,

02:07there are many areas this morning that will have fair weather conditions

02:11or usually sunny weather.

02:13Then by the afternoon, expect the hottest temperature

02:17between 32 to 33 degrees Celsius.

02:20Then by the afternoon to the evening,

02:22it will be dark for a while and the chances of localized thunderstorms

02:26or landslides that last for two to three hours.

02:30Our temperature in Mezambuanga City and Davao City

02:33is also up to 33 degrees Celsius.

02:36Today and for the next few days,

02:38we will not experience any gale warning or high waves.

02:42It is expected to reach a large part of our country.

02:45If there are thunderstorms, it is possible to rise to two and a half meters.

02:49While here in Northern Luzon, over the weekend,

02:52it is possible to have moderate to rough seas

02:54or 1 to 2.5 meters high waves.

02:58And for the next three days or until the weekend,

03:01there will still be northeasterly wind flow

03:04from the northeastern islands.
