00:00We got the All-Star Home Run Derby tonight.
00:04Of course, Pete Alonso in it, why not?
00:06Some of the other guys are interesting here.
00:09As you can see the odds on the screen.
00:11It's a new format this year,
00:14which is gonna put a lot of pressure
00:16on the guy throwing the pitches for them,
00:19given there is gonna be a pitch limit,
00:21which I think is really the biggest
00:22handicap and factor in this.
00:24So unfortunately, I don't have any breakdowns
00:27of the guys actually throwing the balls to them.
00:29What do you think we're gonna get here tonight, Matt?
00:32Yeah, well, the one thing we do know
00:34is that Alonso's bringing back his old pitcher
00:38that he had success with,
00:39not the guy who didn't quite fare as well last night.
00:43So I think he's the favorite.
00:44He's the favorite for a reason.
00:45It's tough to fault that, given his experience and his wins.
00:48I always like, there's a guy in the home park,
00:50a guy who can hit bombs,
00:51which we know Adonis Garcia can.
00:53So I imagine he's gonna be very comfortable as well.
00:56Those would be my one, two.
00:58But look, it's a home run derby.
00:59The guys are hitting BP.
01:00You go to any Major League Baseball game
01:02and guys who you would never expect
01:05are hitting bombs in batting practice
01:07because that's just what they do.
01:08It's kind of like an NBA pregame.
01:10Everyone's hitting threes,
01:11even centers who never shoot them.
01:13So anyone can win.
01:14I think it's gonna be fun.
01:16We didn't get Aaron Judge.
01:17We didn't get Shohei, but that's okay.
01:18We still got some massive home run hitters.
