Police have confirmed that the main suspect in the murder of UPSI graduate Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah is a lance corporal from the Slim River police station.

00:00Police have confirmed that the main suspect in the murder of Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah

00:09This was disclosed by both Selangor Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Hussein Omar Khan
00:14and New Perak Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Azizi Mat Aris on Tuesday.
00:20Commissioner Azizi said the 26-year-old individual is a lance corporal from the Slim River Police
00:25Station and has been with the police force for about five years.
00:30He added that during the investigation by Mualim Police, the suspect showed where the
00:35offence was allegedly committed.
00:38The suspect has been remanded for seven days to assist with the investigation under Section
00:43302 of the Penal Code.
00:46Nur Farah Kartini was an employee of a rental car company in Tanjung Malim and was reported
00:51missing after delivering a rental car to a customer on July 10.
00:55Her housemate lodged a missing persons report the following day.
00:59The victim, who graduated from University Pendidikan Sultan Idris last November, was
01:04found dead in Felda Gedangsa, Hulu, Selangor on July 15.
