00:31made by the family of the deceased through the submission of a memorandum to the police.
00:36On Thursday, Lawyers for Liberty led a total of 29 NGOs to submit a memorandum demanding
00:43the federal police to reopen the investigation.
00:46They said the authorities must investigate the case again after the Ipoh High Court set
00:51aside the coroner's open verdict in the death of Susaymanikam and revised it to homicide
00:57last month.
00:58Susaymanikam was pronounced dead at the Armed Forces Hospital in Lumut in May 2018 while
01:05undergoing training at the naval base.
