00:00Organizers and officials of the local government celebrated the success of the national football match in Cebu.

00:19The national football match in Cebu City Sports Center was wrapped this morning.

00:29At the press conference, Cebu Acting Vice Mayor Dondon Hontiveros,

00:34Department of Education Assistant Secretary and National Football Secretary General Francis Cesar Vingas,

00:41and Cebu City Sports Commission Chairman John Pajes were present.

00:44In his opening statement, Vingas praised the Queen City of the South

00:49for their successful hosting of the national football match.

00:59But we are in the homestretch of this event and I am so glad that Cebu City exceeded my expectations.

01:10Hontiveros was pleased with the good assessment of Vingas.

01:15I think I just want to hear the last statement of ASIC, exceeded expectations.

01:22I think it's okay, we can talk.

01:24Really, we appreciate the comments of ASIC Panchayat.

01:29According to Pajes, the hosting of the match was successful despite some issues,

01:35including the substandard track and field.

01:38So it's been a fulfilling, a very challenging one year.

01:43As you know, there have been so many curves along the way,

01:47but I think and we appreciate what ASIC Panchayat mentioned earlier.

01:52I think we were able to exceed expectations.

01:56I personally would consider this event a major success.

02:04the national football match of 2025 will be held next,

02:08where the student-athletes of Ilocos Norte will gather again.
