00:00Hello everyone. I went to the movies to see a scary movie called Long Legs. The reviews
00:09were on. They were saying it was fantastic. The scariest movie of the decade. I almost
00:15couldn't even say that. Because as you read that, you're like, the scariest movie of the
00:20decade. Like, I'm like, no. This is not going to be the scariest movie of the decade. And
00:26it had Nicolas Cage playing a character called Long Legs. And I barely recognized him. He
00:32had so much makeup on. He was a crazy character. He spoke weird. He acted weird. He actually
00:40freaked me out weird. So his character in this movie was scary, freaky, and just flat
00:49out weird. I don't think he's ever played a character like this before. And he was the
00:55villain. But there was a serial killer. A serial killer was out there. And it was Nicolas
01:02Cage. But there was more to it than just a serial killer. There was a lot going on in
01:09this movie. You had an actress. The main actress was from a movie called It Falls. Now, I need
01:18to re-watch It Falls. And the only reason why I do is because it was a movie that came
01:25out in 2014. And it was an independent movie. And I don't know. When I watched it, maybe
01:32there was too much hype. And I didn't really like it. But they said it was scary, weird,
01:37and different. That is true. So I'm going to have to watch It Falls again. Because when
01:42I saw this actress in this movie, and I haven't seen her in too many movies, I said to myself,
01:49I like this actress. This actress did an amazing job in this movie. She was on the case. And
01:56she acted like a very shy type detective. A shy type woman. But she had insight into
02:07the case that no other FBI agent had. And these killings were going on for a very long
02:14time. It was set in the 1990s. But I believe the killings were going on longer. I should
02:21know. I watched the movie. But the movie itself did freak me out a little bit. Now, some reviewers
02:27say that they gave away too much at the ending. Like all the mystery. There was no mystery
02:33to it. Because at the ending, it was all resolved. I don't necessarily believe that. But if I
02:39get into that, I would have to spoil things for you. And that I do not want to do. This
02:46movie also had the director, Oz, Oz Perkins, did this movie. He wrote it and directed it.
02:54And honestly, he did an incredible job. The only thing I did not like about it were some
03:00of the flashes. There were flashes of red, with a whole bunch of snakes, that I just
03:06thought didn't really need to be there. But it was filmed in a really cool way. And you
03:13will recognize other actors. Every actor in this was perfect. A perfect cast. I cannot
03:22complain about one actor that I would be like, oh, I didn't like this movie because of that
03:27particular actor. That's not the case at all. Nicolas Cage was excellent and freaky, as
03:35I said earlier. It's a must-see, in my opinion. It cost $10 million to make. And as I sat
03:43there with my popcorn, and I'm eating my popcorn and drinking Coke, while I'm watching the
03:49movie, I had to set it down. Because I had to focus, like the detective did. Because
03:56they had codes. They had Bible verses. And they used the Bible verses really well this
04:03time. Where sometimes in movies they don't. There was a lot going on in this film. And
04:10it just kept me involved all the way through. Now, eating 6% in Rotten Tomatoes, that is
04:20quite high for a horror movie. And saying it's a scary movie of the decade. That's what
04:25drew me in. And I was the only one in the theater. Afternoons, a lot of people don't
04:31go to horror movies in the afternoons. So I was kind of glad I was. But when the movie
04:35was over, I didn't finish my popcorn and pop. So I had to take it home. Threw out the pop,
04:41though. Unfortunately, the pop was just, you know, from a soda stream. And, you know, I
04:48couldn't really save it. It would have been flat by the time I got home. But popcorn can
04:52be good for days. But that doesn't happen often. Where I get so involved in a movie
04:58that I can't even eat my popcorn. And I had to go with the detective to see what was truly
05:04going on. And I liked it. I liked it a lot. And on IMBD, they give it a 7.5 out of 10.
05:14But those numbers can change. $10 million budget? I give this movie a 7.5 out of 10.
05:22Possibly even an 8. I still have to think about that. Because there were some little
05:27things I didn't like about it. But very little. Eh. There were those flashes I told you about
05:33that kind of gave me a bit of a headache. And the scenes weren't. Some scenes were a
05:38little too dark that I always had problems with. You know what? A 7.8 out of 10 this
05:46time. All right, everyone. Long legs. And if you like Nicolas Cage, you will like this
05:53movie. He's never done anything like this before. And he was freaky and a really freaky
05:59character. Acted really weird. All right. Bye for now, everyone. And have an incredible day.
