00:00This weekend is Bristol Harbour Festival, opening on Friday night at 6pm. We'll keep
00:10going all the way until Sunday at 6pm. So pretty two and a half days full on for celebration
00:16of Bristol's heritage and maritime history.
00:20And what can we expect from this year's Harbour Festival?
00:26We have got quite a few tricks up our sleeve for this year's Bristol Harbour Festival.
00:31We have planned a live music main stage and the amphitheatre, which has got some amazing
00:38and exciting glossary challenge for all international artists. And we've been working with Global
00:44Look All and Screen Peace to bring some very, very high calibre and exciting acts.
00:51We'd also have a more relaxed talk tent in Millennium Square, which will obviously also
00:57include loads of food and drinks, like a more chill-out area. And then we've got a couple
01:05more exciting spaces. One will be a green square with a dance tent and a Bristol Rising
01:11Stage, which is our young talent live music stage. And we also have College Green, our
01:18dedicated family playground with the wonderful circus acts and loads and loads of hands-on
01:25workshops and free activities for all families to get involved.
01:28So why do you think the Bristol Harbour Festival has become so iconic to Bristol?
01:34Bristol Harbour Festival has become such a big, iconic flagship event for Bristol. For
01:42various reasons, I think one of them being the largest free festival to attend in the city,
01:48especially to this day, something like, you know, something to look forward to,
01:52that it's free and everyone can take part to, is definitely key.
01:56But also it has become something iconic.
