00:00What's it like leading a stage of the Tour de France with that crowd?

00:17Yeah, I mean the crowd is something special, you know, it's almost deafening going up this

00:22climb and just having people scream your name, it's for sure really special.

00:31I don't know if disappointment is the right word, it's just bike racing at the end of

00:36the day, like, yeah, gave it everything to be in the break and I was in the break with

00:40good legs but, you know, if I was today and had legs like him then I think I'd race the

00:44same way so, yeah, there's not a lot you can do about it and I've just got to, yeah, take

00:49the good legs forward hopefully and I'm sure there'll be some more opportunities.

00:54So far this race has been very polarised, either we had a sprint or the days for Jonas

01:02and Tadej so, yeah, today it's kind of an opportunity for a breakaway and tomorrow I

01:07suppose.

01:09We have three tough climbs in the final with the bonus seconds on the second climb to the

01:13finish so it should be a breakaway day but you never know in this Tour de France.

07:58Pogacar doesn't appear to be affected by yesterday's crash,

08:01adding a point to his lead over Philipsen at the intermediate sprint.

08:05All of today's mountains points went to the breakaway,

08:08so Pogacar still leads Vingegaard by 19 points.

08:14And Evan O'Paul has an even bigger lead of almost 8.5 minutes now

08:17in the youth classification.
