Will Jayden Bogle soon become a Leeds United player?
Transcript
00:00Leeds have had two bids rejected for Sheffield United's Jadon Bogle.
00:04They seem to be about three million apart in terms of their valuation with Sheffield United.
00:10I quite like it as a prospective signing if they're able to meet in the middle or
00:15you know either club is willing to compromise on their demands and expectations.
00:2023 years old, he's got vast experience in the Championship and Premier League
00:25but again with a year left on his contract I don't see Leeds budging all that much on
00:31the fee that they're willing to commit to him.
00:35Well they shouldn't do because they still have to toe the line with P&S but also
00:46there can't only be one option, it can't be a list of one. It might be the one that
00:51Farka really likes but he's not the only one who'll be able to do that role in Europe that
00:56Leeds could go and get this summer. I wonder if the Sheffield United situation is making it
01:03a bit more difficult to get things done in terms of buying their players. I mean
01:08first and foremost it's a bad look for them to agree to business that a direct rival
01:17believes strengthens their promotion bid. It would be like Leeds selling
01:25Stroik to Burnley, a move that you think well hang on a minute, that's going to come back to
01:31bite us a little bit, why would you do that? But if he's not willing to sign a new deal then
01:36Sheffield United really will want to sell. I imagine they'd be a lot happier selling to
01:41someone who's not in the Championship or someone who's not going to be fighting for promotion in
01:44the Championship. But if Leeds is the best offer on the table then they might just end up deciding
01:53to take it.
