00:00G'day, Bryce Eichold here, a journalist with Stock and Land at the 2024 Australian Sheep
00:04and Wool Show here in Bendigo. And I'm Rebecca Nagy, I'm the Land's Livestock Editor. Lucky
00:09enough to be here in Victoria. Bryce, how's it going? What have you been up to? Well,
00:14Bec, I've been in the Moreno shed today and not much has happened there. In fact,
00:17there's been a lot of activity, but not a great deal in terms of Grand Champion sashes. They're
00:22the multicoloured ribbons we see here at the show and really what every stud tries to win at an
00:27event like this. Get to see any of them dished out of the Moreno shed and we expect a lot of
00:32that to happen in the morning. What about you, Bec? What have you been up to? I've been at the
00:36White Dwarf Ring. So Dell, which is a Moama stud, they've continued their good run at such
00:41Supreme Exhibit. They also won Grand Champion New South Wales State Sheep Show at Dubbo recently.
00:47Archaea Dorfus from WA has also done very well though, Grand Champion Ram. Over in the White
00:53Suffolks, Mertex, absolutely dominated. Most successful exhibitor, basically all the broad
00:58ribbons. So yeah, good day for them. Nice. And it's also the first time that the
01:04valet black nose are being shown here. Apparently, Google says they are the world's cutest sheep.
01:10Don't forget, we have also got the National Moreno Pairs. That's at 5.30pm tonight.
