00:40problems with their systems and delayed flights.

00:44Passengers in the United States, Portugal, Spain, UAE and many more countries said flight

00:51information were not displayed and their flights were delayed.

00:55UK reports said the crashes may be due to a software update pushed by CrowdStrike to

00:59its digital security platform.

01:02Other reports said the outage was likely linked to a glitch in Microsoft software used globally.

01:08According to an alert sent by CrowdStrike to its clients, the company's Falcon sensor

01:13software was causing Microsoft Windows to crash and display blue screens.

01:18The Paris Olympic Games Organising Committee said their IT operations were not spared and

01:23they had been impacted by the outage.

01:26They said they had activated contingency plans to continue their operations.
