00:00With one week left for the closing of the electoral campaign in Venezuela,
00:05President and candidate Nicolás Maduro warned that if the fascist right win
00:11comes to a power, a popular revolution would be inevitable because a
00:16persecution against the Chavistas would be unlucky. Our correspondent Madeline
00:22Garcia with the story. There are mobilizations everywhere. In the streets
00:31you can hear music, noise. More than 250 cities of the 24 states in the country
00:36have been visited by Nicolás Maduro.
00:40Raising awareness of what is at stake on July 28th, this is Barcosimeto, capital of
00:45Lara, in the west part of Venezuela. The people gathered close to the stage to
00:52wait for Maduro, with that passion that characterizes the Chavistas. The nation
00:59is at stake, our Venezuela, the country that President Hugo Chávez left us.
01:03That's why we warn the Venezuelan people to be on alert. It is the poorest people
01:10who raise their voices in support of Nicolás Maduro's candidacy. They are not
01:14willing to lose the social conquests and the project that made them visible.
01:24If the fascist right-wing were to deceive the people, there could be a
01:30bloodbath and a civil war in Venezuela because the people won't let their
01:34country be taken away from them. They won't let them hand over the eastern
01:40Guayana. They won't let them privatize their social rights. In the last hours
01:47there was an explosion in a gas pipeline in the state of Anzo AtagĂĽey in the
01:51east of the country. There is also an alert of sabotage to the electrical
01:55system. The fascist right is desperate. They know that we are going to beat them
02:01hard on July 28th. They want to harm the country no matter what. They are betting
02:09on a hecatomb. A tragedy. That something will happen.
02:23Earlier he visited Carua, another city in the Lara state, an agricultural region
02:28where he carried with him the same message to vote for peace.
02:39On July 28th the future of the next 50 years of Venezuela will be decided.
02:44They represent fascism, hatred, revenge and violence. We represent love and peace.
02:52The socialist and humanist model is at stake. The alternative is neoliberalism
02:58and privatization. Venezuelans have less than two weeks to make a choice.
