Delicious Lady Fish Coconut Curry
Ingredients:
1) Half Shell Grated Coconut
2) 3 Tsp Coriander Seeds
3) 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
4) 1/4 Tsp Peppercorns
5) Small Lemon Size Tamarind
6) 5 To 6 Garlic Flakes
7) 1/2 Onion
8) 10 Bedgi Red Chillies
9) 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
3 Slit Green Chillies
1 inch Ginger
Ghee or Coconut Oil
1/2 Onion thin sliced
Salt as per taste
Water while grinding
Method of Cooking:
1. Add all ingredients from no. 1 to no. 9 into the Grinder with little water.
2. After sometime add Salt as required while grinding.
3. Cut & Clean the Lady Fish with Salt water.
4. Take a vessel add grounded masala & add water to adjust consistency.
5. Heat the vessel if you find the gravy is still thick add hot water to adjust
consistency.
6. Once the gravy comes to boil, add slit green chillies & ginger.
7. Add the cleaned Fish, see that the fish is immersed in the gravy.
8. For 2 to 3 minutes let it boil on medium flame with lid closed.
9. Check for Salt, if required you can add more. (Remember Salt is added while grinding the masala)
10. Turn off the flame.
For Tempering:
Take a Tempering pan add Ghee or Coconut Oil.
Add thin sliced onions, fry till it turns golden brown.
Finally add the tempering to the fish curry.
Your Delicious Lady Fish Coconut Curry is ready.
