00:00It had very strong exhibitor numbers, the competition has been very strong and a lot
00:05of the breeders I speak to are saying how hot the competition has been and just because
00:11you may not have got a high placing or got a ribbon, it didn't mean that your stock were
00:17inferior or not up to it, it was just that the competition was very very hot, it seems
00:21to be getting stronger and stronger every year as people look to develop their breeds
00:26and make them more productive and meet the demands of the markets today, so that's pretty
00:31much how we see it.
00:33Awards were reasonably evenly shared across a large number of studs and I think that's
00:38a real positive that all the eggs aren't basically in one basket, so we're very very happy with
00:44how it's all gone.
00:46And from here, where do people go?
00:48Home!
00:49Yeah, obviously we have people from every state in Australia and they'll start heading
00:55off this evening, back home, an event down at Hamilton in a couple of weeks time, Sheep
01:02Vention, some of the exhibitors perhaps in Victoria and South Australia will come to
01:07Hamilton, to Sheep Vention, others will go back because the ram selling season basically
01:13starts in August and so lots of them will be going home now and preparing their sheep
01:19and preparing for their on property stud sales that will commence in, well a couple of weeks
01:24time actually.
