00:00The film starts with a teenager named Risa in a small room full of phones on the walls.
00:05Suddenly, one of them, on which there is a sticky note, starts ringing.
00:09Risa raises her headphones and hears an automated voice that is frequent on getting a Royal Flush.
00:14While trying to figure out what is happening, the other phones start ringing and everyone is talking the same.
00:20Suddenly, water starts coming out of the phone and starts flooding the room.
00:24Then Risa looks up and sees the toilet seat attached to the ceiling.
00:29Realizing that she has to empty the toilet, she starts climbing the wall with the help of the phone.
00:34However, she fails to find the toilet seat.
00:37She thinks that she will drown if she doesn't pick up anything, and Risa calms down and reads the number on the sticky note from before.
00:42Fortunately, she comes up with an idea and with the little time she has left, Risa goes back down and uses one of the phones to turn the number.
00:49Her plan succeeds and the phone discovers a secret passage that contains the missing toilet seat.
00:55Risa rushes back to the top and puts the toilet seat.
00:58Then she pulls it and that leads to the fact that all the water disappears from the room, saving her own life.
01:04However, a few seconds later, it turns out that the whole experience was just a game of virtual reality.
01:10Risa takes off her VR headset and finds out that she is actually surrounded by other VR players and professional gamers in the esports center.
01:18Later, she comes home and has dinner with her adoptive father, Chris.
01:22It is clear that the two of them are very close because Risa lost her mother at a very young age.
01:26Suddenly, the light in the room starts to flicker and comes to a short circuit.
01:30Then we are shown the installation of various electrical sources around the city, which are also destroyed in the same way.
01:37For some reason, everything that works on electricity implodes.
01:41Inside the house, Chris doesn't think about it and assumes that the city is going through a normal power outage.
01:46However, Risa can't get a signal and is cut off from the outside world.
01:50Unfortunately, due to constant short circuits, Risa's computer set also turns on.
01:55Somehow she manages to put out the fire, but she can't save her computer.
01:59Later in the day, Chris turns on the light and tells his daughter that this power outage was a necessary break for her to get away from her devices.
02:07Then they look at some old photos on her iPad and remember the time when Risa's mother was alive.
02:13Soon after, she falls asleep on the couch.
02:15In the middle of the night, Risa hears a strange sound coming from their warehouse and decides to investigate it.
02:20Not waking up, her father slowly goes out with the light and then goes to the warehouse.
02:24There he finds a book called Radio Flash, which is another expression for Electromagnetic Pulse or EMP.
02:30While Risa looks around, we find out that the warehouse actually belonged to her grandfather Frank, who had gone to live in the mountains a few years ago.
02:38After a while, Risa discovers a silver plaque on the table under which the scattered radio receiver is located.
02:43Hoping to get some answers from Frank, she skillfully compiles the parts and successfully connects the radio.
02:49Then she turns on the device and calls her grandfather, who answers a few seconds later.
02:54It also turns out that Frank is very concerned about the extinction of electricity, which he calls apocalyptic.
02:59According to him, almost the entire western part of the United States is affected by this mysterious extinction of electricity.
03:04He assumes that this could be related to the attacks of electromagnetic pulses.
03:09Frank then asks about Chris, but finds out that he is already sleeping.
03:12Therefore, he instructs Risa to call him on the radio tomorrow morning, because they have very little time.
03:17He wants his father to leave his house immediately and join him in the mountains, because he has enough supplies ready here.
03:23Before the call is over, Frank sends Risa a map and a portable radio that will help them on their journey.
03:29However, the radio will only work when they are within a radius of 5 miles from Frank.
03:33All this indicates that he has been preparing for this event for a long time.
03:37Risa agrees and the next morning informs her father about the situation.
03:42At first, Chris refuses to go to Frank, claiming that he is crazy, but when his father continues to insist, he decides to at least call his father.
03:49Soon after that, the two of them leave the warehouse and Risa starts the radio transmission.
03:53After that, Chris and Frank start their conversation.
03:56At first, the old man continues to explain the truth behind the extinction of electricity.
04:00He discovers that everything that is happening is a consequence of the EMP, which will soon cause chaos and devastation in every part of the United States.
04:07He also claims that floods and tools will become scarce in just three days, so living in the mountains with him is the only safe option.
04:14After hearing all this, Chris is finally convinced and decides to go right away.
04:18After a while, he and Risa start packing their things, while the situation outside the house begins to worsen.
04:24The police and civilians are at each other's throats because of the long-term extinction of electricity.
04:28No one knows what is happening or when it will end.
04:31In the meantime, Chris and Risa enter their car and start their journey.
04:36On the way, they return to the only open supermarket in the area in order to get some supplies.
04:41However, when he witnesses intense violence among people around basic necessities such as water and food, he quickly withdraws.
04:47As they leave the place, we see that thousands of other people are also trying to get out of the building.
04:52In the next scene, the father and daughter duo are forced to stand on the bridge because of the accident that blocks the highway.
04:58One woman seems to have lost her life, and Risa witnesses it.
05:01A few hours later, the tension on the bridge reaches its peak, and the impatient man hits the other with his vehicle.
05:07This opens the way, so Chris and Risa quickly run back to their vehicle and continue their journey.
05:12Later that night, Risa wakes up and discovers that they have missed the intersection and are going in the wrong direction.
05:17This distracts Chris' attention, and at the moment he takes his eyes off the road.
05:21That part of the second turns into a scooper, loses control of the car and crashes into a nearby forest.
05:27On the next morning, Risa wakes up her father, who is relieved to see her unharmed.
05:31However, Chris seems to have hit his head and is bleeding a little.
05:34Then he decides to follow the nearby river to Frank's location, because it will save him a lot of time.
05:39Somewhere else, Frank starts to worry about the two, because they should have arrived by morning.
05:43In the meantime, it is difficult for Chris to walk, so Risa suggests that he rest a little.
05:47They stop at a nearby waterfall and fill it with water.
05:50There, Risa discovers that her father has a severe bruise on his back and a deep cut on his arm.
05:56He immediately begins to treat his wounds, while Chris insists that he will be fine.
06:00After a while, he continues his journey, but Chris becomes weaker and finally becomes unconscious.
06:06Before he loses consciousness, he calls his daughter to ask for help.

07:34After a while, he stops at a car mechanic's shop and rushes to steal gasoline from the truck.
07:40Suddenly, a hunter shoots him and Risa uses the opportunity to escape.
07:43However, shortly thereafter, the same hunter grabs her and puts her bag over her head.
07:47When he finally opens his eyes, a strange old woman is waiting for him,
07:50who claims that Risa violated her property and will now have to pay for it.
07:54In the meantime, Frank finds Glenn's dead body and recognizes him as the man in the photo.
07:59This worries him even more about Risa, so he continues to seek answers.
08:03On the other hand, during the evening, the old woman introduces Risa to her family.
08:07Her son was a hunter from the beginning, and Quinn, her embarrassing and problematic grandson.

08:46There is an intense fight, but the teenager is finally caught and the violent hunter returns her home.
08:51When Risa comes to her, she is tied inside a bag that hangs on a tree.
08:55A big bear approaches her and tries to open the bag.
08:59It seems that the teenager is on the verge of death, but Billy arrives at the last minute and shoots the bear.
09:04It turns out that Risa was simply used as a bait to attract the big beast.
09:09After a close encounter, she is taken to a small inn where Billy left her for a week.
09:14But one day, he is taken out and the old woman tries to convince Risa to stay and become a partner with one of her sons.
09:21However, Risa replies that she would rather be in the inn than with those maniacs.
09:25Her wish is fulfilled because the angry woman orders Risa to be returned to the inn.
09:30This time, her arms and legs are tied.
09:33Desperate to escape, Risa manages to cut her in half and completely free herself.
09:37However, she cannot think of a plan to escape.
09:39Then she notices how the woman looks at her and thinks about the plan.
09:42Risa knows that he has a feeling of sympathy for her and decides to use it to her advantage.
09:47She begins to persuade him to help her and, surprised, the woman, who is obsessed with constant abuse from her grandmother and father, accepts her.
09:54She lets her go without reproach, runs away from the property together and runs all night.
09:59The next morning, Billy discovers that they both ran away and immediately starts the search.
10:03He follows their tracks and broken branches, slowly and persistently.
10:06On the other hand, Quinn and Risa get closer and eat the beans because they ran away far from the property.
10:11A few moments later, they arrive at the cliff where Quinn almost falls to his death, but Risa manages to save him.
10:17Then he climbs the cliff, which serves as a bridge, and slowly climbs it.
10:21Suddenly, Billy looks at them from afar and shoots, but luckily misses.
10:25Terrified, the teenagers start running and climb the shallow lake.
10:30Realizing that they cannot escape from Billy, they dive into the water to hide.
10:34After their hunter comes, Risa and Quinn come out of the lake and run in the opposite direction.
10:39However, as he was an experienced hunter, he noticed them from behind and followed them again.
10:43In the end, Risa arrives, but Quinn decides to face him while Risa is hiding behind a wall.
10:48While fighting, Billy's gun falls in front of Risa, but she swears to use it.
10:53However, when he realizes that Quinn will be dragged to his death if he does not take something, Risa takes the courage to take the gun.
10:59She directs him towards Billy and finishes him with one clean hit.
11:03But surprisingly, it turns out that it was her grandfather Frank who fired the bullet and saved the teenagers.
11:08He arrived at the scene after he heard the gunshots.
11:10The hunter runs away with his grandfather and hugs him tightly while tears flow from her face.
11:15The scene is cut short for a while in the future, where Quinn and Risa live with Frank and do activities as a family.
11:21The world still suffers the consequences of the EMP, but here in the mountains, everything that is needed for survival is available in abundance.
11:27The film ends when Quinn opens Risa's laptop and notices a few messages from her friends,
11:32indicating that the problem with the power outage is finally coming to an end.
