Five suspects remanded over Albertine abduction
Five suspects were remanded in Johor Baru on Tuesday (July 23) in connection with the abduction of six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui.
Four suspects, aged between 28 and 55, have been placed in custody for four days until July 26 while the fifth suspect, a 31-year-old man who was found with the child at a budget hotel in Batang Kali, has been remanded for seven days until July 29.

01:12He added that police are still investigating the motive behind the kidnapping and whether

01:19Commissioner Kumar also said the victim's family did not receive any ransom demand from
01:24the suspects, adding that police would also be checking if the five have prior records.
01:31Police have also seized a car used by the suspects to abduct the child to Selangor.
