00:00Rab, many thanks for joining us at 1-0-1 this afternoon. What was your thoughts on that one?
00:05I think the boys did really well, Johnny. We told them before the game there was a chance that we were going to have a lot of possession, a lot of time where we're going to move the ball nice and quick if they believe in themselves.
00:16I think they did. I think when they got on the ball, they moved it well. That was key, using a big pitch. The boys have done trials here, they've had trial matches here, so the good thing for them was it was like a home game for them.
00:28They enjoyed it. The boys did well.
00:32A few tired bodies after the game last night against West Ham?
00:35No, definitely. West Ham, obviously a Tier 1 academy. The boys were in every day. We put our team together in eight weeks. The boys were absolutely out on their feet towards the end of the West Ham game. They opened up a few gaps which they took advantage of.
00:51I thought they started really well today. They took the tempo from last night's game into today's game. The tired legs are rightfully tired because it means they put the work in. That's all we can ask for is hard work.
01:03What are you and the coaches and players looking for from the week?
01:06From the week, for ourselves, we're looking for a group of 18 boys who are going to talk away this tournament for the next 10 years for themselves. We want them to walk away with no regrets. Enjoy the week.
01:16Obviously, we're not putting immense pressure on them, but because we know how good they are, it's making sure they believe it and going out and showing everybody else it's here to watch.
01:23And a good crowd here today and you'll be looking for more of the same tomorrow when you play Stevenage?
01:27Yes, super. There's probably a few boys here with big families which helps. Me being one of them, I can hear them in the stands, but the crowd drives the boys on.
01:36That last 10 minutes here today, you could see they were getting tired. We were still creating chances, but the crowd, every time they hit a tackle, the crowd was amazing.
01:43That's parents just wanting their kids to do well and that's great to hear.
01:47Cheers Rob, thank you.
01:48Alright, cheers Donnie.
