00:00Jack, thanks for joining us at 3-1-1 this evening, your three-year first ever Super Cup Finals, County Armagh. Thoughts on that one?
00:07We're just delighted. We're delighted for the county, for the committee, for the players in particular, coaching staff, everybody's just delighted.
00:16It's been an unbelievable achievement for them to have got to the final of the Super Cup as a County Armagh county is an unbelievable occasion for them and they fully deserve it off their performances this week.
00:29We spoke off camera there saying it's never easy playing a county, especially in the semi-final. A wee bit of a doorbell then?
00:35No, it's difficult and we got that in day one. We got County Antrim, so we got introduced to the tournament straight away with County Antrim.
00:41Probably that might have helped for today because it's a similar type of game, but from that we know a lot about the players that are in County Down's team.
00:51We played them in warm-up games as well, so we knew how they would play and I thought in terms of the way we asked the players to carry out the instructions today, they were excellent.
01:01Brilliant, all of them done exactly and the game went out as we'd planned, bar half-time when they made a few changes to the shape and stuff.
01:08We struggled to react to it and that's where they got their goal, but I think credit to the two boys, Ciarán and Zach, because the minute we brought them on the game, we got back into control again.
01:18Then the third goal, a wee bit of luck because I think he probably has tried to cross it and hit it off the bar, but that's what you need when you're on these weeks.
01:26You need breaks, you need luck and today that moment and that bit of luck in terms of getting the goal meant that we were able to control the game and see ourselves out.
01:36You're back here tomorrow night, will you change any of your routine before it and what are you expecting ahead of Brighton?
01:40We've been lucky because every day has been between six o'clock, half-six, seven, so it's always been the same.
01:46Obviously tomorrow night's game is now eight o'clock, so it's going to be a similar routine for the players.
01:51I think it's just going to be a headache for us to try and work out what we're going to do with accommodation and how we're going to look after the boys during the day.
01:58We're going to have a lot of thinking to do tonight, but yes, no typical routine.
02:02Just for us, let them enjoy the night. They've got the Super Cup final, they have to enjoy that moment, enjoy the whole evening.
02:08Certainly for me, I'll enjoy my evening in terms of just being able to switch off and then when I get up in the morning, we can then start getting glued back into the game and Brighton.
02:17We've already got some information on them already, so we can go through all that and hope that there's just one more push now.
02:24They've got to just give everything because it's their only chance and they just have to enjoy it.
02:28We keep telling them just enjoy the week, enjoy the journey and don't worry about the whole destination of the week, it's just the journey.
02:34Make sure the journey's as good as it can be.
02:36Final question for me then, you'll be hoping the whole county of Armagh comes up here tomorrow?
02:40They need to. County Armagh, they've never been to the final of the Super Cup.
02:44County Armagh Premiers, they've never won their group, so for County Armagh to be in the final of the Super Cup,
02:50it would be fantastic to see everybody who's associated with all the county football clubs around the county, your Glenelgham fans, your Portadown fans, your Lough Golf fans,
02:59all of them to try and come out and support their local players and even all the ones from the other clubs that have been represented in ways.
03:08Because they're representing not just their county, but now that they're representing Northern Ireland football because they're the last county standing.
03:13All the best for tomorrow night.
03:14Thank you, thanks.
