00:00This is how they were pushing me too.
00:20I have not been judged.
00:22Whoever has put me in here under the omulation to make a tour,
00:25this place smells so bad.
00:28So, I have been here for two and I have not been judged.
00:32My lawyers are out there as if they are waiting for the OCS post to come at two,
00:36which I don't understand.
00:37You have been here for two.
00:39You have been arrested.
00:40I have right to a clear hearing.
00:42What is my right?
00:44If I am being processed, if I am being held against my will,
00:47why am I being held?
00:48At this point, it says I am being held against my will.
00:51Because if he says he is sick until he is 12 because he doesn't have money,
00:55I am infringing on my article 37, my right to demonstrate.
00:58I have a right to.
00:59And I don't understand people are saying,
01:01don't seduce me,
01:02shut up, shut up.
01:03It really works.
01:04But people say, sit down.
01:05If we are to come out again,
01:06we have to express ourselves.
01:08And if at all someone is saying that young people are outside expressing themselves,
01:12it's because these systems that they have put in place do not work.
01:15We are tired.
01:17The male ward is pathetic.
01:21The hospital has mounds.
01:22I want to call the same situation.
01:24I have three victims of police brutality from our demonstration.
01:28No leader has addressed even one.
01:30You are the leader of the party,
01:32the leader of the board.
01:33Don't you see you are ending his life?
01:35Today, it's me.
01:36Tomorrow, it's someone else.
01:37You are saying I am tired.
01:38Tell the parents whose children have died,
01:40tell them that you are tired.
01:43Tell the people whose taxes are going.
01:46We are tired.
01:48We are tired, husband.
01:49I haven't done anything wrong.
01:51These people are very peaceful.
01:53These people have come here.
01:55They are gathering.
01:56They just wanted to walk down the streets.
01:59When they say their problem,
02:01everyone has the right to say their problem.
02:04They have the right to picket,
02:05the right to gather,
02:06the right to protest.
02:08It is protected very well under the constitution.
02:10I don't see why somebody should be arrested.
02:13They should go for no reason.
02:15They shouldn't be charged.
02:16The OCS is here.
02:17We are telling them to be charged.
02:19We have cash bail.
02:20We are ready to take it out.
02:21They should be released.
02:22It is their rights to be released.
02:24Or they should be taken to court.
02:26Those are threats.
02:28They are trying to intimidate people
02:31so that they don't express their feelings.
02:35Which is not allowed.
02:36And we will not allow.
02:38And we just want to remind the youth in Kwale
02:40that the time is now.
02:42And whatever you are doing is the right thing
02:44at the right time, at the right place.
02:46Do not be intimidated by the police.
02:48As the law society, Kwale branch,
02:50we are ready to give you support, legal services.
02:53And if anything happens to anyone,
02:55we just need to be notified.
02:57We were all in our offices,
02:58and when we were told three people have been arrested,
03:00we were there in less than five minutes.
03:02So do not relent.
03:04Come out in numbers
03:05and remind the government that they need to deliver.
03:08Your right to picket, your right to protest
03:10is enshrined in the constitution.
03:12And the police, whatever actions they take,
03:14they have to work within the parameters of the law.
