00:00A divisional duel getting started this week in Toronto
00:06between the Rays and the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays nine games
00:09below 500 in this next week ahead of the trade deadline.
00:14What does Toronto do Tampa even 500 after 100 games this year
00:1950 and 50 the numbers for today. The Blue Jays a home
00:23favorite with Jose Barrios on the bump the over under eight
00:26and a half. What do you like in the six? Yeah look at Barrios
00:29and you take a look at the last 30 days 101 batters. He's
00:32basically average 153 power number against 334 weighted on
00:36base percentage. But if you take a look at that 60 day
00:38scope and adding some analytics here for Barrios, he's got a
00:40119 X minus. How about this an ERA of 5.06 and an X number of
00:454.85. That's not good enough to get the job done, but he does
00:48get a bit of a reprieve because you look at that Toronto.
00:51Excuse me look at the Tampa Bay Rays lineup and say to
00:53yourself. It isn't all that great outside of what Brandon
00:56Lau at a 304 ice on a weighted on base percentage of 393 and
00:59Palacios in that lead up hold 363. There's not a lot to love
01:03in that anticipated lineup today. If you do look at
01:05Toronto's side going up against Tyler Alexander on the season,
01:09he's got terrible numbers, but over the past 30 days, he
01:11doesn't have any numbers so coming back into Major League
01:13baseball right now. If we're looking at some of those guys
01:16George Springer, Vladimir Guerrero Junior have positive
01:18numbers, but on the whole the past 30 days haven't treated
01:21that lineup kindly against left handed pitching, but if I'm
01:24looking at burrito struggling here and Alexander not a great
01:27pitcher in a smaller ballpark like Toronto as opposed to
01:30playing in the trop, you might just want to lean on the total
01:32in this game, even though I'm not in love with it outside of
01:34a couple of guys on each one of these rosters.
