00:00Several houses and establishments have been destroyed due to the bad weather in several parts of Southern Luzon.

00:17Because of the constant rainfall brought by the typhoon Karina,
00:22the flood in Occidental Mindoro is increasing.
00:25Sablayan is one of the affected towns,
00:28where five barangays were flooded due to the flood of Amnay and Patrick River.
00:32Pre-emptive evacuations in several flooded barangays have already been carried out.
00:36More than 1,003 individuals were evacuated.
00:39No casualties have been reported in the province.
00:42It's just that there's a high tide right now.
00:46Other barangays are also flooded because of the high tide.
00:54When the high tide is going down, the flood subsides.
00:58In Occidental Mindoro, three rivers are already at a critical level due to the continuous rainfall.
01:05That's why a road cannot pass through Abaton in Barangay Parang in Calapan City,
01:10where evacuations have already been carried out.
01:13The towns of Bungabong and Baco were also flooded.
01:16At the same time of the rain, a strong wave hit the town of Pinamocan Proper in Batangas City.
01:23This dam was destroyed, so the water entered and it almost sank.
01:26If there's a storm or a flood, the people here cannot swim.
01:32We should help the fishermen so that they can reach us.

01:41We advised them to raise their boats in case the tide rises.
01:46They can evacuate and coordinate with their barangay disaster officers and barangay council.
01:51This family has already evacuated.
01:53Their house's wall was destroyed due to the strong wind and rain.
01:57They are currently staying in their house next to the food box of the city hall.
02:02In Lian, Batangas, some floating cottages were destroyed in the area of Matabongkay Beach.
02:07The Lian MDRRMO is currently conducting an assessment to find out how many of those were destroyed.
