00:00Update from Cavite area, more than 2,000 residents have been evacuated from 21 evacuation centers in Lungsod, Bacoor,

00:10which has also been included in the State of Calamity.

00:12Some of them say that the storm is not over yet and they are still looking for a way to survive.

00:23Atom, 40 out of 47 barangays here in Bacoor, Cavite are affected by flooding and torrential rains.

00:35That is why Bacoor LGU has already included the entire Lungsod in the State of Calamity.

00:41This is the only house of Ms. Glenly in the 1,000 households that are allowed to have heavy rain in Cavite.

00:50Inside their house, there is up to 20 inches of rain.

00:54Even their bathroom is flooded.

00:56That is why their equipment has been lifted so that it will not get wet.

01:00If it rains, there is always a little rain.

01:03It is low here in our area.

01:07In Barangay Panapaan Uno, there is a double-permission flood in the house of Mr. Jose.

01:13Aside from flooding his house, he will not be able to go out to look for a way to survive.

01:19We are selling rice husks.

01:21We are not able to sell rice husks because it is hard to go out.

01:26Our bags are heavy.

01:28We don't have money.

01:32I hope we can get rice husks.

01:37In the middle of the heavy rain here in Bacoor,

01:40we passed by Mr. Tirso who has a bag of rice husks while walking in the heavy rain.

01:46When we asked him, he said that he is begging for food for his five children who are left in their house.

01:53I asked him if he is not afraid of the heavy rain.

01:57His answer is...

01:59I am afraid. I have a wound.

02:01But we have nothing to eat.

02:03I am starving.

02:06We don't have rice.

02:08I am wearing slippers.

02:11I don't have slippers.

02:13I have nothing to do. My children need to eat.

02:15More than 2,000 residents have been evacuated from 21 evacuation centers in Bacoor

02:21while the deployment of volunteer rescue units continues

02:24to evacuate the residents in need of help.

02:28We declare that Bacoor is under state of calamity

02:33because many of our barangays, particularly District 1, are flooded.

02:38Some still don't want to go to our evacuation center.

02:43Let's not take a risk.

02:46We can't say for sure.

02:48The rain continues.

02:50Ato, it has been an hour since the rain fell.

02:59But the flood still continues.
