00:21Emil, the monitoring of Ilocos Sur PDRRMO continues.

00:25Because no one will come from the Aplan Municipalities and Cordillera Region,

00:29it is possible for major river systems to overflow and flood the 1st District of Laloigan.

00:40In Bayan ng Kawayan, barangay officials monitored 50 houses in Bukanan ng Ilog after the water level rose.

00:49There are many houses that have been flooded.

00:52This is because of the landslides, ma'am.

00:56You can see that the houses are also flooded.

00:59According to the residents, two years ago, the water level in this part of the river

01:05was only a few feet from the houses.

01:08But despite this, the residents still have no plans to evacuate

01:12because they want to protect their property.

01:16There are also cracks like in St. Lucia that overflowed.

01:20According to the PDRRMO, there are several roads and spillways that cannot be passed.

01:26The PDRRMO is also monitoring the three major river systems of Laloigan

01:31that are now at a normal level.

01:34When it turns red, it is already dangerous for our low-lying areas

01:39because it is possible for a large-scale flooding to occur here, especially in Metro Vigan.

01:45Eighty-eight families from eleven towns in Ilocos Sur were evacuated

01:50before a flood occurred in their area.

01:54In Ilocos Norte, two families had to be evacuated to the evacuation center

01:59after a flood in Barangay Tulawag City yesterday.

02:03The creek also overflowed there.

02:06In Barangay Barit, a part of a house was covered by land

02:11in the heavy rain.

02:13According to the CDRRMO Lawag City, no one was hurt in the landslide.

02:18The residents helped each other to get the land out.

02:27Emil, according to the Ilocos Sur PDRRMO,

02:30as of 4.30 p.m. yesterday,

02:33130 families or 450 individuals were evacuated.

02:39Some are in evacuation areas while others are with their families.
