00:11The water level in Marikina River has dropped

00:15even though the third alarm is still high.

00:19It's not as bright as it used to be because it's already dark.

00:21But August has calmed down.

00:25At the moment, the water level is at 18.7 meters.

00:30While earlier, residents were forced to evacuate

00:34after the river reached a critical level.

00:42In the middle of the water level rise in Marikina River,

00:45their boats and barges reached the F. Manalo Bridge in Pasig.

00:49The water level in Marikina River has dropped even though the third alarm is still high.

00:54Some people were hit by the water while others were swept away by the current.

00:59There were also people who got stuck under the water.

01:03Marikina Mayor Marci Teodoro said

01:05that the barges were brought from Barangay Barangkasa, Manikina.

01:09In this video, a man was seen stranded on a barge in the middle of the river.

01:14Those who were riding the barge were immediately arrested.

01:17According to Pasig CDRRMO,

01:2020 people were arrested while riding the barge.

01:25The barge was first closed.
