00:00old and also brings to you this interview with Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy. Good
00:20afternoon, sir. Oh no. We just, we just lost him. Okay. All right. Because he was like,
00:29I don't have time for your nonsensical sponsor right now. Yeah. We're just having a fun
00:34conversation. He's trying to consume all, he's trying to over consume all the boats.
00:41Still don't know if that is the word that we should go with. However, now we have Texas
00:47Rangers manager Bruce Bochy on the line. Good afternoon, sir. Good afternoon. Good afternoon.
00:53How are we doing today? We're doing fantastic. Hope you are as well. We were just having
00:59an in-depth conversation about Nathan of Aldi and outside of the stats and everything
01:04like that. I'm just kind of hoping you can give us an insight. How do you feel? How does
01:08the club feel every day that you know he's going to take the mound for y'all? Well, you
01:14have to feel good when he takes them out. There's no getting around that. I mean, he's
01:17one of the best pitchers in the game. We saw what he did last year for us, especially in
01:22those huge games, including the last game of the World Series. So yeah, Nate brings
01:29so much confidence to the ball club. And I know guys love playing behind him. You see
01:33how intense he is. He's all about winning. You won't find a better teammate to he's there
01:39for everybody. We've talked about it probably a few times here on the show where even spring
01:45training, he's trying to help the young pitchers. He's watching them. He's just such a tremendous
01:51human being along with a great talent. And so when he takes them out, yeah, there's probably
01:58even a little added appeal to winning the game. How tough is it to find players like
02:03that or pitchers like that that go out of their way to help out the young players? And
02:08then you see everyone's like, I will do whatever I can for that guy. Well, yeah, it's good.
02:17It's guys out there, I guess, but it's not a rare deal, but it's somewhat because no
02:25guys are focused on what they're trying to get done. And, you know, we're lucky that
02:29we have a great staff here that support each other. Andrew any, for example, you know,
02:35he's, he's right there, too. As far as one of the guys is always trying to help young
02:40pitchers, really all of them. They're involved. The bullpen, you know, you look at the guys
02:46down there, Clark, he's, I mean, he's great, especially with the young Latin players, the
02:54pitchers and, but yeah, he's Robertson, you know, those guys do a tremendous job. And
02:59I think that that comes with experience and being comfortable, you know, trying to, you
03:06know, provide for leadership for young pitchers.
