00:00I'm back in it, I've been gone two years without dropping a full project like this.
00:10I feel like it's just time, it's time.
00:13My fans miss me, I'm ready to deliver and I'm ready to stay consistent and keep going.
00:19Trying to make sure and Play Da Fool was one of my first picks because I just wanted to
00:24let my fans know that this the vibe I'm on.
00:27Like I said, first impression is everything and when you're playing something, the first
00:32thing you play is like, oh this is what we can expect.
00:35So I just wanted to deliver that energy.
00:37Federal, heartless, Elo energy, that's the vibe.
00:41When you go to a theater, you don't want to go see the same movie six, seven times.
00:45So I feel like that's where I'm at in my career.
00:48I got to give y'all different movies to see every time.
00:51Every time you listen to me, it's a different, it's a new movie, it's a different vibe.
00:56This one, like this one.
00:57I record like a real, I'm a real time artist.
01:00I like to record when stuff really going on, like accurately in my life, that's the mode
01:07I was in.
01:08I feel like whatever I'm going through in that day or that week or whatever pain I'm
01:13enduring, I just use it as an outlet, like something to let out.
01:17It's more of like when I go in the studio, it's more like a relief for me because so
01:21much on my mind, so I'm really just going in the studio to let it off, get it off and
01:26get ghosts.
01:27You know what I'm saying?
01:28First, I get a voice memo of the cadence I want to, if I'm out in traffic, I get a voice
01:33memo of the cadence or the melody or where I'm going with it.
01:37And then once I do that, I go to the studio with my in-house producers and we just cook
01:41up around it.
01:42And I just come up with topics and stuff like that, like substance music, like I like to
01:47make stuff like that, that makes sense.
01:49Me and Drum God just got a chemistry.
01:51I paint him, I show him the way, I paint him a picture, he execute it.
01:56Speak was a song I used to motivate myself, like looking in the mirror, telling myself
02:00like I'm that nigga.
02:01It's just speaking, it's talking, it's letting them know that like, don't play with him,
02:06he's here, he been here, he's going to stay here.
02:09Whenever he feel like doing this, he going to do it.
02:12And yeah, stand down.
02:15I just feel like nobody want to fucking with me, like that's just how I feel, like speak.
02:20They ain't fucking with me, like that's how you want to be, like when you looking in the
02:24mirror, like you have to tell yourself that sometimes you got to remind yourself like
02:28you that person.
02:29I'm excited for fans to hear this collaboration, Whiskey Whiskey, with Morgan Wildin.
02:35I just feel like it's going to take me somewhere else, it's tapping into another lane.
02:39It was actually his song, he just gave it to me.
02:42It's just unexpected and they, I mean, it's a good song, it's just, I feel like it's taking
02:47me somewhere else.
02:48I need to go there, I need to expand, I'm ready to expand, so tune in.
02:54I just feel like this song is going to represent just Tennessee.
02:58I don't feel like, this is what I was going, this is what I'm aiming with.
03:02I'm not trying to like tap into nobody, like whatever that is, I'm just really collaborating
03:09with my man, with my friend, Morgan Wildin, and it just was a pleasure for him to do that.
03:14Just the biggest artist he is, so it was just great.
03:18Two country motherfuckers, like from Tennessee.
03:21Memphis sound, we always had waves, like from everybody that's out now to the ones
03:27before us.
03:28Like even from when 3C's got it, like even my wave, Black Youngsta, Black Boy JB, Glo
03:37Rilla, like Pooh Shies, like everybody got waves, like Memphis, like we got a lot of
03:42talent there, like the world's just not seeing it though, like we've been at it, for sure.
