"Vedere al villaggio olimpico i nostri atleti incontrarsi e tenersi in comune sforzo non di contrapposizione è stato un bel messaggio che supera il mondo dello sport. E l’inaugurazione di Casa Italia dimostra quanto l’Italia partecipi al messaggio che le Olimpiadi esprimono, una sua succursale, un luogo in cui si esprime il gene italiano per partecipare a questo grande evento. È stato un piacere aver assistito al taglio del nastro, buona Olimpiade a tutti”, ha concluso Mattarella.
