Spectators Stay Dry By Watching 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony in Parisian Cafes

It was a rainy day in Paris on Friday for the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, so some spectators took to Parisian cafes to stay dry while they watched the festivities on television screens.

00:00So I've just walked out of the Opening Ceremonies by the SEND seats, and a lot of people have
00:05decided to seek shelter in a drier location because they came to watch the athletes come
00:11by on the boats, and once they did that, everything else is on a screen, so they probably decided
00:17to find a drier place.
00:18Walking past here, you can see that there's a bunch of cafes, and there are people just
00:24watching the rest of the ceremonies on a screen in the comfort of a Parisian cafe.
