Plans underway to kick-start Skypark Link service, says Loke

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said plans are in the pipeline to kick-start the Skypark Link, a train service that connects KL Sentral Station to Skypark Terminal at the upgraded Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang.

00:50And for the terminal operators, security measures have also been added
00:56to ensure the smooth movement of passengers during their flight.
01:03So I am pleased to announce that Subang Airport is ready for jet operations on 1st August.
01:21Of course, we are planning right now to see how to start the service again.
01:27I've mentioned before that once the new terminal is ready,
01:30then definitely the train must be ready as well.
01:33But we will be looking at the possibility of even earlier,
01:36because the track is always there, the station is always there.
01:39So it's a matter of when the demand comes up again,
01:42and then we are ready for the train operations.
01:45Is there any sort of plans to provide more connectivity
01:49in order to alleviate the traffic conditions in this airport?
01:53Well, I will ask Rapid KL to also look at the bus services here
