PCG assures situation under control following the Bataan oil spill

00:00Philippine Coast Guard, or PCG, said the oil spill from sunken motor tanker MT Terra Nova
00:06off the coast of Limay, Bataan, is already under control.
00:09According to the PCG, only one liter of oil has been leaking as pressure valves and high-level
00:15alarm sensors have already been sealed.
00:17However, they observed very minimal and unnoticeable oil sheens in the shorelines of Hagonoy, Bulacan
00:23and Cavite based on the aerial survey.
00:26Meanwhile, as part of the preparation to the possible effects of oil spill, PCG has put
00:31an oil spill boom on Navotas, Malabon River.
