00:00Good morning to all of you, and here is the weather forecast for the last day of July, Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

00:09In our latest satellite images, we can still see the continuation of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat Particular

00:16in the northern and central part of Luzon, even though we can see that the Southwest Monsoon is weakening.

00:24It will continue to bring more thunderstorms in the northern part of Luzon,

00:29while the southern part of the country will continue to experience rain, lightning, and thunderstorms.

00:35Please note that in the northeastern part of the country, there is almost no rain.

00:39There is almost a high-pressure area there compared to our countrymen,

00:43especially in the Cagayan Valley region where we expect to experience hot weather in the afternoon.

00:48But it is still possible for there to be thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

00:51It is also possible for there to be heavy rains here in Visayas and Mindanao.

01:22This July, two thunderstorms were reported in the Philippine Area of Responsibility,

01:27the Buchoy and Karina storms.

01:29Meanwhile, in August, tomorrow, it is already August,

01:32we expect two or three thunderstorms to be reported in the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:39And this is the time here in Luzon.

01:41We can see that a large part of Luzon will experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
