The country is expected to remain cyclone-free for the next few days, as the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) does not anticipate any tropical cyclone formation over the coming week.

00:00The effect of the northeasterly wind flow or the cold wind is still continuing from here in the northeastern part of the island
00:06and it is still bringing strong rains here in the northern Luzon.
00:10While in the remaining part of our country, there are still localized thunderstorms,
00:14especially in the afternoon until the evening.
00:16Based on our latest satellite animation,
00:19we do not expect a typhoon to enter our Philippine area of responsibility in the coming days,
00:24but we continue to monitor for possible formations of shallow circulation or low-pressure area
00:30here in the east of the country.
00:32And we do not expect this to be a typhoon right now.
00:37Today, we still expect a high chance of rain here in the Cagayan Valley,
00:41Cordillera Administrative Region, and Lalawigan ng Aurora
00:44because of the northeasterly wind flow.
00:46The rains are still weak and sometimes they get stronger from the afternoon until the evening
00:51so be careful of possible floods and landslides,
00:54and always stay tuned for our updates.
00:57In the remaining part of Luzon, there is still a part that is cloudy until the sky is cloudy,
01:02from morning until afternoon.
01:03But there are areas here in the remaining part of Central Luzon plus Ilocos Region
01:08where there will be isolated rains.
01:11If it reaches the afternoon until the evening,
01:13a large part of Luzon will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms
01:17that usually last for two to three hours.
01:20Our temperature in Metro Manila is still from 25 to 32 degrees
01:25while in Baguio, it remains cold from 17 to 22 degrees Celsius.
01:30For our countrymen here in Palawan,
01:32as well as in Western Visayas and Negros Island Region,
01:36we still expect fair weather conditions from morning until afternoon
01:39while in the central and eastern portions of Visayas,
01:42partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
01:44If it reaches the afternoon until the evening,
01:46a large part of Visayas and Palawan will have cloudy skies
01:50with a high chance of rain showers and thunderstorms.
01:53So make sure that we still have an umbrella.
01:57Our temperature in Metro Cebu is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:02And lastly, for our countrymen in Mindanao,
02:05we still expect sunny weather most of Mindanao from morning until afternoon.
02:10There will be both hot and foggy afternoons,
02:13but if it reaches the afternoon until the evening,
02:16there will be a lot of clouds, especially near the mountains,
02:20and we still expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms
02:23that usually last for two to three hours.
02:26So bring an umbrella if you're going out, especially if it reaches the afternoon.
02:31Our temperature in Zamboanga City is the hottest up to 34 degrees Celsius
02:36while in Davao City, up to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:40As of now, until the next few days,
02:42we still don't expect a gale warning or a rise in clouds.
02:46Generally, the southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have moderate to moderate clouds
02:51while the northern and central Luzon will have moderate to moderate clouds up to 2.5 meters.
02:56And if there are thunderstorms, it's possible that it will reach 2.5 meters

03:04Starting tomorrow until Monday,

03:08the northeasterly wind flow in the northern Luzon

03:31Aurora, Quezon, and some parts of Bicol Region because of the easterlies.
03:36As for the places we haven't mentioned,
03:38including Metro Manila,
03:39we will still experience partly cloudy and mostly cloudy skies
03:43when it reaches the afternoon,
03:44and there is still a chance of rainfall or thunderstorms.
