00:00Subsidized fishing subsidies that have been implemented by the government since 10 June,

00:06in addition to stopping the population from going out at the border,

00:09it also helps fishermen maintain the price of fish for the local market.

00:14This fact is acknowledged by fishermen found in Kelanang, Banting,

00:19who received subsidized fishing subsidies through the Malaysian Fishing Promotion Agency.

00:24JT Zanizam Ismail, 43 years old, said

00:28Fishermen in Grade A and B lessons are still receiving diesel subsidies

00:33even though the government announced the subsidy of firewood last month.

00:39We received it, we put it in a big barrel,

00:42and then we mean, the fishermen who want to go, they have to make an application first,

00:46and after the application, we go to the back, we have a place to borrow diesel,

00:51then we scan our IC, then we can fill it.

00:54In other words, the diesel subsidies received help fishermen maintain the price of fish.

01:01Okay, I think the price of fish since 2008 or 2007,

01:08until now, I think there is no difference, it is the same,

01:11meaning that the price has increased from 14, 15, now it has increased to 18.

01:16Fishermen, farmers and farmers agree that the implementation of subsidized fishing subsidies

01:22must be carried out to ensure that the people have the right to receive the subsidy.

01:27The small-scale coconut palm farm, Zahman Duryat, 56 years old,

01:31spends around RM500 to buy diesel every month

01:36in order to bring its crops to the coconut palm harvesting center nearby.
