00:06a proxy war between Hamzah Zainuddin and Azmin Ali.

00:10Izhar Shah Arif Shah, who is eyeing the Bersatu Youth Deputy Chief's post, said such narratives

00:16were being propagated by sheep who wanted to weaken the party.

00:21He also said such false accusations would only create divisions within Bersatu, stressing

00:26the party polls have nothing to do with clashes between camps.

00:30Rather, Izhar Shah said the elections represent a democratic process that provides members

00:36the chance to choose the best leaders.

00:39Previously, FMT reported that next month's party elections are expected to be a proxy

00:45war between the two former federal ministers.

00:48A Bersatu insider said Hamzah and Azmin were aiming to place their proxies or right-hand

00:54men in key positions across the party.

00:57Hamzah is the sole candidate for the deputy president's post, while Azmin is sitting out
