00:00Well, I'm going to try this, and knowing that you can't answer,
00:03but I'm going to ask you if you can ask her,
00:04from the President's perspective,
00:06how he feels about the Vice President's first week
00:10plus out on the campaign trail.
00:12What does he think about the fundraising she's done,
00:14the events she's done, and what he has seen so far?
00:19I'll say this.
00:23Obviously, the President,
00:25and also being mindful about talking about an election,
00:30obviously, the President endorsed Kamala Harris,
00:34the Vice President, for a reason.
00:36He thought she would be ready on day one.
00:40This is someone who was a senator,
00:42who was an attorney general for the largest state in the country.
00:48She has been, obviously, a Vice President
00:50for almost four years.
00:52She is immensely qualified, and, you know,
00:57the President, having been a senator
00:58and a Vice President himself,
01:00understands what it takes, what it takes,
01:03and he sees that in her.
01:05So I would say he's not surprised.
01:08He's not surprised, and I'm going to leave it at that
01:12to not get myself in too much trouble.
