Leeds reflects on roadworks

00:00Sometimes it's literally a pain, I would say, because I used to come from Headingley to my university so normally it takes
00:0720 to 22 minutes by bus, but when it's roadworks going on
00:11I mean like it goes up to 30 minutes sometimes 40 minutes like the same place
00:15But because of the traffic that it creates I mean it's sometimes it's problematic
00:21I would say. The main one that I've noticed is the Standingley Bypass that's currently closed
00:26So it being a main like sort of arterial route into Leeds
00:32Standingley's getting rammed out and packed out, but I thought they'd finish with all the roadworks
00:37Because they dug the city centre up and all around Leeds and now we're talking about getting a tram as well arriving in 10 years time
00:44So are they gonna have to dig all this up again?
00:47I don't know really.
00:49I would like prefer when it's like not a busy time like during night time
00:53Maybe like if the roadworks literally go on that time because maybe sometimes we don't get communicated well
