Mallory managed to lose 7st 2lbs in 18 months by calorie counting and walking up to an hour a day.

00:30If you're struggling to eat in a calorie deficit or lose weight, here's something I recommend
00:43you try.
00:44During my postpartum journey, I haven't seen much of a change on the scale, but I've seen
00:49major changes in my body.
00:51And this is because I focused on something called body recomposition.
00:55Body recomposition is the process of simultaneously building muscle and losing fat.
01:00To do this, you need to be eating around maintenance calories, eating enough protein, and progressively
01:05overloading in your training.
01:07Because you're eating around maintenance calories, it tends to be a lot easier for you to adhere
01:11to.
01:12Now, the only cons to body recomposition is that it does take a little bit longer than
01:15obviously doing a weight cut or eating at a calorie deficit and just losing weight.
01:20But I would say it's worth it because it's a lot more enjoyable of a process and you're
01:24building more muscle.
