00:00Well, I'm just completely horrified by what we've seen in Sunderland last night.
00:04These are organised criminals, and make no mistake, if this is the response that they
00:09have to a really horrendous, violent murder of three little girls somewhere else in the
00:14country, if they want to use somebody else's grief to create violence, then they stand
00:19for nothing other than sugary, and I think it's really clear that they are not the voice
00:24of Sunderland.
00:25It's absolutely horrendous what our police have had to put up with, they should not have
00:28to stand in the way of this sustained and horrendous violence, and up to this morning
00:33there had been 10 arrests already, but I expect to see more throughout the day as they identify
00:38the people who've taken part in this wide-scale criminal disorder, and work to bring them
00:43to justice, and that's exactly what we want.
00:46We want people to face the full force of the law for this, because it is not peaceful protest,
00:51it is out-and-out crime and violence, and it's terrifying for the people of Sunderland.
00:56And so we need that strong police response, and I'm very grateful to the officers of Northumbria
