Qaum E Samood Ka Waqia Mufti Tariq Masood
Transcript
00:00She narrated the incident of the Queen of Saba, a pious woman who was a disbeliever but became a Muslim on the invitation of the Prophet, she did Tafteesh and despite being a queen, she accepted Islam.
00:16Now Allah is narrating the incident of another nation which is mostly disobedient, Salih A.S.
00:22Allah says, We sent to Thamud their brother Salih A.S.
00:29We sent Salih A.S. to the nation of Thamud.
00:33What did Hazrat Salih A.S. say?
00:35I worship Allah. Worship Allah.
00:37All the Prophets have the same invitation. Worship Allah.
00:41Suddenly they became two teams. They fought among themselves.
00:47It should have been two teams.
00:52But there were many people fighting among themselves.
00:56So he brought a group of people to fight among themselves.
01:01One team believed in Salih A.S. and the other started fighting against him.
01:06Salih A.S. said, O my people, why are you in a hurry to do evil before doing good?
01:18The people of Salih A.S. repeatedly asked him to bring punishment.
01:22So Salih A.S. said, why don't you ask Allah to grant us the ability to repent?
01:27Or we should ask for forgiveness so that the punishment is averted.
01:31The good thing is that the punishment is averted.
01:33Your sins are forgiven.
01:34But you are not in a hurry to do good.
01:36You are in a hurry to do evil so that the punishment is averted.
01:39Why don't you ask Allah to forgive your sins?
01:43So that mercy is bestowed upon you.
01:46What a wicked nation.
01:49When Salih A.S. gave the invitation, the nation started being tested.
01:53It is Allah's habit.
01:55So that these people get a lesson.
01:58The people of Salih A.S. said, we are being punished because of our sins.
02:01But such a wicked nation.
02:03They said, until Salih A.S. was not there, these punishments did not come.
02:06Now that he has come, the punishment is coming.
02:08This means, Maazallah, this is their transgression.
02:11This is their immorality.
02:13Like nowadays, the ignorant people say that the daughter-in-law has come and poverty has come.
02:16This is because of the immorality of the daughter-in-law.
02:18Everything has come from the ignorant people.
02:19Although nothing happens because of anyone's immorality.
02:21It is said in the hadith, laa adbaa wa laa tayyaraa.
02:23This immorality is nothing.
02:26He said, we take this immorality from you.
02:29And the people who have believed with you, this is their immorality.
02:32Because they left the religion of their forefathers.
02:34Because of this, these problems are coming.
02:38Salih A.S. said, your immorality is with Allah.
02:40This means, it is Allah's knowledge.
02:42When something is in someone's knowledge, it is interpreted as past.
02:45Allah knows that these problems are coming to you.
02:47Why are they coming?
02:48In fact, the real thing is not this immorality.
02:51The real thing is that Allah is testing you.
02:54So that you believe in Allah.
02:56Wa kaana fil madinati tisa turahtin.
02:59But the people's immorality continued to increase.
03:02In Madinah, there were nine people in the city.
03:06Yufsiduna fil arzi.
03:07They spread disorder in the land.
03:08Wa laa yuslihoon.
03:09And they did not reform at all.
03:11That is, the nine people were very corrupt.
03:14Although the whole nation was corrupt,
03:16But the nine people were more corrupt.
03:18They never said anything about reformation.
03:21So they started saying, taqaasamu billahi.
03:24Now see, there was disorder in that time too.
03:26And it also happens in the disbelievers.
03:28When you kill someone in an enmity,
03:31So his parents, his ancestors,
03:35Even if they are not in his religion,
03:37Still, they become an obstacle because of the family.
03:39Like the Prophet S.A.W. had the support of Hazrat Abu Talib.
03:43First, the support of your grandfather Abdul Muttalib.
03:45Then the support of Hazrat Abu Talib.
03:47And then you had a lot of support of your tribe.
03:50So the Arabs were afraid of killing you.
03:52Although Abu Talib did not bring faith,
03:54But of course, he is a saint.
03:56So they will stand in front of us,
03:58They will take revenge from us.
04:00So this was the problem with S.A.W. too.
04:03Many of the relatives of S.A.W. did not bring faith.
04:07But anyway, there was a family loyalty
04:10And national pride in those people.
04:12There was animosity in those people.
04:14More than national animosity,
04:16The word pride is appropriate here.
04:18Because they thought, he is a member of our tribe.
04:20So whoever is the brother of S.A.W.
04:22Or father, or grandfather, or uncle.
04:24So it was very strict in Arabia
04:26That if you kill a member of our tribe,
04:28We will take revenge on the basis of our tribe.
04:30When the Prophet S.A.W. conquered Mecca,
04:33The conquests that followed,
04:35The polytheists of Mecca,
04:37Despite being polytheists,
04:38Also participated in the war with you.
04:40Okay, we do not believe in Islam,
04:42But this Prophet is an Arab,
04:44So we will fight on the basis of our tribe.
04:46So this was also the fear of the people of Samud,
04:51That if we kill S.A.W.
04:53Then their people will take revenge,
04:56A tribal war will break out.
04:58The solution to this was the same
05:00What the polytheists of Mecca thought.
05:02When all the tribes will kill the Prophet together,
05:04Who will take revenge from whom?
05:06The Banu Hashim, who will take revenge from whom?
05:08Here too it happened that nine people said,
05:10Who were of different tribes,
05:12They were very corrupt.
05:13They said, let's kill together.
05:15And when people will come for investigation,
05:17Then we will all swear together,
05:19What do we know?
05:21So how can so many people be investigated?
05:23We will all be one tongue.
05:25Because if one person kills,
05:27The other will expose him.
05:29When all the people of different tribes will participate in the murder,
05:31Then everyone will support the other tribe to save their tribe.
05:35He knows that if I have said that he has killed,
05:37Then he will also put my name,
05:39That he was also with me.
05:41So this was their plan.
05:43Allah says,
05:49We will kill the Prophet at night.
05:51We will kill the Prophet at night.
05:53And also his family,
05:55Who came with him.
05:59Then we will say to the Wali of Saleh,
06:01Whether he is a brother or a father,
06:03Whether he is a Muslim or a non-Muslim,
06:05Whatever the Wali will be,
06:07We will say to him,
06:09When his family was being killed,
06:11We were not there.
06:13How do we know who killed?
06:17And surely we are truthful.
06:19When we say this confidently,
06:21Then they will not know who the killer is.
06:25Allah says,
06:27These people also made a plan.
06:29We were also making a plan.
06:33They did not know that when you are making this plan,
06:35Then what is the Arshwala doing?
06:37According to the narration of Surah Mansoor,
06:39These people with the intention of killing,
06:41They were sitting under a mountain at night,
06:43Then a rock fell from above,
06:45Of a rock,
06:47And all of them died.
06:49And Allah saved Saleh A.S.
06:55See, what happened to their plan.
06:57We destroyed them,
06:59And their people,
07:01All of them.
07:03We did not destroy immediately,
07:05We did it when the people of the nation,
07:07Had cut the legs of the camels.
07:09That this camel drinks all the water.
07:11The camel of Saleh A.S.
07:13So Allah said,
07:15Do not touch it.
07:17So they said,
07:19Our animals have difficulties,
07:21So they cut its legs.
07:23So Allah destroyed the whole nation.
07:27This is their house.
07:29They are empty,
07:31Because of the oppression they did.
07:35This is a big sign,
07:37For those people who know.
07:41And we saved the believers.
07:45And they tried to avoid the punishment of Allah.
07:47They tried to avoid the sins.
07:49They were afraid of Allah.
07:53We have also heard the incident of Lot,
07:55When he said to his people,
07:59You commit immorality,
08:01Even though you have insight.
08:03This is wrong.
08:05The people who sell homosexuality,
08:07Their own conscience says,
08:09This is not natural.
08:11This does not happen in animals.
08:13And the animals that are shown in documentaries,
08:15That it happens in animals too.
08:17It is these people,
08:19Who have made this habit.
08:21Because after all these claims,
08:23These things are coming out.
08:25No one has seen this before.
08:27So naturally,
08:29No animal does this.
08:31It never happens,
08:33That the male goes to the male.
08:35This is not natural.
08:37That is why Allah says,
08:39You know that this is bad.
08:41You are saying in front of me that it is not bad.
08:43But your conscience believes that this is a bad thing.
08:45This disgusts a person.
08:47And if someone has a bad habit,
08:49Like the habit of a church and a heroine,
08:51They try to get rid of the habit.
08:53It does not happen,
08:55That it is labeled,
08:57That it is legal or it is permissible.
08:59People also get the habit of killing.
09:01People also get the habit of shouting.
09:03There is no control over anger.
09:05In all these moral vices,
09:07The law is not changed,
09:09To legalize shouting.
09:11Or to legalize the heroine church.
09:13Rather it is said,
09:15The one who has a bad habit,
09:17As if doing work spoils the habit,
09:19By leaving it, the habit is also left.
09:21The one who has the habit of misbehaving with boys,
09:23The solution is not that you start favoring him.
09:25Rather the solution is that
09:27You force him to get rid of the habit.
09:29Motivate him.
09:31Treat him like a doctor.
09:33Such a person should go to a psychiatrist.
09:35He should go towards Nikah,
09:37So that he is saved from badness,
09:39And his nature is directed towards fitrah.
09:41Like Lut A.S. said,
09:43Marry these women,
09:45So that you get rid of this torment.
09:47But in the world,
09:49Such people have a torment,
09:51That they have no desire for women.
09:53So now the solution to that torment is,
09:55He will make you free.
09:59Do you come to men to fulfill your lust?
10:01Leaving women?
10:05You are ignorant people.
10:07This was the answer of his people.
10:09They had no evidence.
10:11They said,
10:13Take out the people of Lut from your settlement.
10:15Whoever has believed in them,
10:17Take them out of here.
10:21These are such people who try to be very pure.
10:23This is also a taunt given these days.
10:25Whoever is preaching,
10:27People start belittling him.
10:29The scholars of today are also like this.
10:31Because they know that the scholars preach,
10:33They call people towards religion.
10:35So they get into their personalities,
10:37They get into their personalities,
10:39In an immoral way,
10:41They start accusing them.
10:43This is an old story.
10:49We have also saved Lut A.S.
10:51Except for his wife.
10:53Because his wife used to preach.
10:59We have made an estimate of him,
11:01Among those who are left behind.
11:03That too among those who are left behind,
11:05Because Allah commanded Lut A.S.
11:07Take your people and leave.
11:09And they will be punished.
11:11No one should look back.
11:13Just believe in the promise of Allah,
11:15That stones are falling.
11:17So Lut A.S.'s wife had a doubt,
11:19And stones fell on her too.
11:21The rest of the believers were fleeing.
11:23This is the punishment of Allah.
11:25Allah said, leave from here.
11:27And we rained on them a rain of stones.
11:33How bad was their rain.
11:35Rain is such a beautiful thing.
11:37But their rain was very bad.
11:39So there was an earthquake on that nation,
11:41And Allah turned the upper part of the earth upside down.
11:43And there was a rain of stones.
11:45Both things happened.
11:47There is a difference between the two.
11:49That the stones fell first,
11:51Or the earth turned upside down.
11:53Some people said that the stones fell first,
11:55So that they would be punished.
11:57And those who survived,
11:59Allah turned the earth upside down and destroyed them.
12:01And some said that the earthquake came first,
12:03And then the stones fell,
12:05To finish their marks.
12:07But the first statement is preferred,
12:09Because it is specified in the Quran,
12:11That the marks were more than the stones.
12:13The meaning of more than the marks,
12:15It was the sign of what was to be hit.
12:17That it will hit this and that.
12:19Then it is known that the stones fell first.
12:21And if the meaning of more than the marks,
12:23Is that they were not the stones of the earth,
12:25They were special signs on them.
12:27Then that second statement is also correct.
12:29Anyway, we have no objection to this,
12:31That the earthquake came first, or the stones fell first.
12:33What we have to think is,
12:35That Allah's disobedience,
12:37And the disobedience of the Prophets,
12:39Is the means of the destruction of man.
12:41May Allah enable us to avoid sins.
12:43And may Allah enable us to repent,
12:45If we ever commit a sin.
12:47And may man not continue in that sin.
12:49Otherwise, Allah's punishment is very severe.
