00:00I was talking to Landon about just not being out there all the time and
00:06trying to get the line communications and changing the lines. How hard is that?
00:10Not too hard. We got a lot of time, a lot of meeting time to kind of make that up.
00:13We constantly making calls in the meeting room. He's done a great job of learning and
00:19studying the communications. He's been on for eight months, so for him that test
00:22shouldn't be too hard.
00:23And Landon's a sophomore by eligibility, but he's been around the program for such a long time.
00:27What can you say that gives him a role as a leader, just being around for a little bit?
00:31Yeah, obviously he understands the traditions and the foundation of this program.
00:35He's a great steward for the program, great kid, great teammate, so we're excited to have him.
00:44I know he's fired up about getting help.
00:46Is the center demand still as high as it was in the spring, having everybody need to have that opportunity?
00:51Or have you kind of narrowed that list of guys down?
00:54We had it from 11. We had 11 different centers that we were working with.
00:57We're down to about three or four guys that we're kind of working on, so that's helped us.
01:01DeAngelo joining the program has been a great help for us. He's played a lot of staff at the center.
01:06Zach's time from the spring that he topped in there for has been great for him.
01:12He's played a lot of staff at the center. Working with him for Summit Guard, too,
01:15giving him some nice opportunities there.
01:17Got some time, but DeAngelo at Guard plays well, too, so there's some great versatility inside.
01:23We got this thing going. We had six or seven scholarship guys out there practicing.
01:29Two of those guys should have been high school seniors, so to have 16, 17 healthy bodies out there is a great bonus for us.
01:38Happy to have him.
01:39Can you talk about Omar? He seems to have made a nice recovery from last year.
01:45He's had more time than other guys to recover.
01:48He was a little bit early on the timeline, so he probably could have done some things at the end of spring.
01:54We want to just protect him and make sure that he had a great summer.
01:58No setbacks during the summer months, and it's worked out well because he's been great all camp so far.
02:05No issues. He's just working, competing, trying to get better at the fundamentals as he's doing.
02:11So that plan's worked out so far.
