00:00The first thing Nola does every morning is run right up.
00:18She literally can't wait to do it.
00:20She first goes up to a further part of the yard and she climbs the big tree there.
00:29And then she jumps down to go the other side of the yard and climbs up her other tree.
00:35All of that before even going to the bathroom.
00:38This is her morning routine.
00:44We force her to come in eventually because she's got to eat.
00:47Nola, you should come in for breakfast.
00:51Let's eat.
00:54And then as soon as she gets a little food in her stomach, she's ready to go back out.
00:58She does this about five times a day.
01:00When we adopted Nola, we noticed that she loved jumping on things.
01:08And when we moved into this new house, one day I literally noticed her in the tree and
01:12I thought I was seeing things.
01:14And ever since then, she keeps climbing up and she always has her back leg touching the
01:19tree.
01:20She's very careful.
01:21Nola is actually blind in one eye, which makes her hobby even more surprising.
01:23So why does she want to be up there all the time?
01:34Sometimes she says hi to the neighbor's dogs.
01:36How you doing?
01:37I hope you're looking at Nola.
01:38But I think she just really loves to know what's going on outside.
01:39The days I work from home are her favorite days.
01:40Because she gets to spend all her time outside.
01:56What about if the weather is bad?
01:57Does she ever change her plans?
01:58Nope.
01:59She doesn't mind it at all.
02:00This is what happens when I'm in meetings, sitting at my dining room table and I look
02:01out and Nola's just in the tree.
02:02Just another day.
02:03Can't make this up.
02:19When it is nighttime, she comes in and grabs our slippers.
02:24That's her second love.
02:29And when it's time for bed, she goes upstairs with them and goes right to bed.
02:46And in the morning it starts all over again.
02:49Ready to get up?
02:50There's probably about two minutes from the time that we wake up and leave our bedroom
02:56and open the back door.
02:57Ready to go out?
02:58To her in the tree.
